A great travel miracle has occurred – and the author, who flies frequently and disgruntledly, couldn’t be more thrilled. The TSA will no longer require airline passengers to remove their shoes when going through security.
Shoes on/shoes off has been the bane of every commercial airline passenger’s existence since British terrorist Richard Reid attempted to detonate his shoe bomb on a flight from Paris to Miami in December 2001. Since then, it’s been federal policy to X-ray your Nikes and, repulsively, your flip-flops.
Either that threat has passed – or maybe it wasn’t ever that much of a threat. Regardless, we are free.
I would like to see some other air travel rules change, too. Surely the technology must exist, in this advanced era, to allow us to pack a family-sized toothpaste in our carry-on, or to let our laptops stay in our bags when going through the scanner, even without TSA Pre-Check. Also, I would like to call for an end to “airplane mode” and to make it illegal for the guy next to us to unwrap a Chipotle burrito mid-flight. We live in a time of wonders. Let’s make it happen.
We’re old so don’t have to do that anymore. But it is annoying and stupid
Lets come up with a SurCharge for FAT people. That will be an incentive for people to loose weight.

There was never a “Shoe Bomb. It was all a set up by the FBI. The FBI escorted him on to that plane and then escorted him back off. I have a friend who was in line as it happened and saw it all beginning to end. It was all staged...

I'm surprised they even let you wear a belt. After all, you could use it to hang yourself, when you end up sitting on the tarmac for hours waiting for your plane to depart. 🤣
TSA was rendered into a bad joke on we citizens when the Biden Regime allowed their precious illegals to bypass all security checks while transporting them to red zones everywhere.
They even set up temporary camps at some airports to house them, also on our tax dollars. I’ll drive, thank you.
This guy has no clue, how about a 350 pounder opening a tuna and onion sandwich next to you and breathing that monstrosity on you while he drops chunks of it on his shirt and lap and brushes them off on you.
Add he has the smeel of dead skin, outhouse cant wipe, never brushes his teeth breath, and no shower B.O.
IE: some guy who smells worse than a sub sailor after a 100 day patrol.

Story doesn’t make sense. No reason to escort the Bomber on, that would be noticeable. If escorted on, how did the observer know the escorts were FBI, did they wear FBI labeled attire so everyone on the plane would know? He just needed a ticket, which he had. Of course he was escorted off, he had tried to light 2 small bombs in his shoes while the plane was in the air and then was put in restraint in his seat.
The TSA exists in the first place because Bush II wanted to prove he wasn’t racist. Because singling out Muslims would be racist, see?
Now make the TSA stop taking walkie talkies away from cruise passengers. This sttarted in 2025.
If true, I might actually fly again. Haven’t flown since 2002.

And it was noticeable... It was absolutely stupid but that is exactly what they did. They escorted him right past security and onto the plane. Then waited in the lobby for the passenger chaos on the plane to happen and then went and grabbed him back off.
Do not even try to call me a liar, I know this to be absolute fact, I saw the pictures with time stamps. My friend had to move out of the country because he noticed it and exposed this false flag. Reid was working with the FBI and it was all a staged event.
