Tucker Carlson and Scott Horton talk about the background to the current Iran conflict. Interesting. Not for everyone.
Imho worth the listen.
Imho worth the listen.
Chinese access to Iranian oil is a concern of mine.
Some good points are made but in the end his anti-Semitism seeps through…
It’s becoming rare to find voices rightly critical of US foreign policy (especially as it pertains to the Middle East) that is both Zionist AND critical of Israel/Netanyahu…That is Zionist but not “Neocon” nor an Evangelical that idolizes Israel. Trump at least treads the balance as best he can though.
How FDR tricked Japanese Prime Minister Hideki Tojo into attacking Pearl Harbor, so he would have an excuse to conquer Japan.
How Stalin tricked German Chancellor Adolf Hitler into attacking the Soviet Union, so he would have an excuse to conquer Eastern Europe.
How Cato the Elder tricked Carthaginian Leader Hannibal into attacking Saguntum, inciting the Second Punic War, so he would have an excuse to destroy Carthage.
Write an example of a sentence or paragraph that is critical of Israel, Netanyahu and their policies without sounding “antisemitic”.
ANY criticism is dismissed as hatred of Jews, they are above reproach. In short, they are superior humans to all others. You cannot criticize, without being compared to Hitler, then reminded of the Holocaust. Amazing
Thanks for the post, I will listen and learn. There is an epidemic of people judging on the basis of bias without a thought. It is frightening to me to see those who searched for alternative truths, end now that their goal of electing a President with ideas they believe matches their own. It is literally the obverse of Democrats lockstep supporting their side.
My party “right or wrong”, is not how you keep a Constitutional Republic.
Funny.
However, I’m not sure the first one is entirely false. The surprise attack on Pearl Harbor was almost a carbon copy of the surprise attack on Port Arthur in 1904. Suprise me once, shame on you. Surprise me twice, shame on me.
I do agree with your larger point about screwball trickery. I remember when conservatives talked of winning by losing. I like winning by winning so much more.
This is a great interview with 40+ years of history covered by a knowledgeable author. And people on this thread have the gall to trash the interview with the word “antisemite” without even listening to it.
When he going to bring back the retarded lefty historian again to blame the usa for all the worlds problem. Tucker is an ignorant dick
Cato the Elder was an amazing guy. he got Hannibal to attack Saguntum when he himself was only 15 years old.
Ron Paul actually doesn’t set off alarm bells, but unfortunately many of his adherents do. He himself, is just very consistent with this anti-interventionism and most of his critique is centered on the US as a whole with its approach to just about every part of the world.
But a lot of his followers are indeed resentful and of the blame ‘the Jews’ for everything bad conspiracy camp.
Tucker is a first class dweeb, never worked a physical job in his life. Loser
Tucker blans, Trump DOES. Difference between closer and a winner.
Except for the fact that the Pearl Harbor operation was side show. The main Japanese target was the oil fields in the Dutch East Indies. The attacks on Hawaii, Wake, Guam, the Philippine Islands, and Malaya were all in support of that operation.
Hawaii was a late addition to the target list because Yamamoto wanted to keep the US Pacific Fleet from interfering in the main attack.
Yamamoto was against the Japanese leaders who believed that they could fight the Americans when they finally showed up "in due time"; he was convinced that if the Americans could move bombers close enough to Japan, we would simply burn the country to the ground.
As we know, Yamamoto had studied here in the US; militarily and morally, he knew exactly what Americans were capable of.
Exactly why I posted it.
Yes a d those willing to lose to TEACH REPUBLICANS A LESSON!
I knew that there are people here like you who could appreciate its depth
So what?
Neither have any of the Trump kids.
