Several Communist refugees and New York pols expressed outrage Monday after a clip resurfaced of presumptive Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani noting that one of his goals is “seizing the means of production.”
“After [the] Red October Socialist Revolution in 1917, Bolsheviks seized means of production, jailed or killed business owners, eliminated freedoms & took over private farms & food stores,” former Brooklyn City Councilman and Communist refugee Ari Kagan wrote on X. “I would never imagine NYC would consider this failed & dangerous government model.”
Kagan, a Belarus native who grew up under Soviet-style communism, further told The Post that the clip of Mamdani grinning as he parrots Communist godfather Karl Marx’s marching orders is “chilling.”
“It’s very chilling to hear that,” the former council member said. “It’s dangerous and scary. A majority of New Yorkers have to reject this man.”
“I remember government-run stores in Minsk. There were long lines,” Kagan recalled.

The irony is, New York City has NO “means of production”
NY City is already an old socialist wh*re, living off an advantaged position in the US monetary system and creation of printed, fiat money - it skims from Wall Street trading and is the recipient of massive government transfers of aid and welfare money, supported by massive US debt.

It’s like, everything would be free, man.
When government seizes the means of production it becomes the only employer and decides who works where and what salaries will be.
It also seizes all private property so that you own nothing and it can let other people use “your” things with no compensation to you.
The only people who do well are the ruling elite, who continue to prosper while they look at the ordinary folk with scorn.
And they said Trump thought HE was “the King.”
Well, he may finally crush NYC as a viable city in America.
He'll settle for seizing the NYSE.

“Goofball Mamadama”, the binLadin silver-spooned terrorist of the West, only beat the most hated man in NY by a small amount of an even smaller amount of NYC democrats who actually turned out.
Now Cuomo is thinking of running as an independent. Adams already is, with the democrat machine still backing him.
Sliwa seems like a good guy, but all he is, is that statue in the park that all the pigeons roost on.
If they could dig up a good, strong, NORMAL, republican in that city, the demonRATs would be toast.

I was thinking it might’ve been an anti-Cuomo vote. But socialism/communism is a “thing” on the left & particularly with young folks these days.

It’s a long way to November and there’s plenty of time for New Yorkers to wake up and mobilize to overpower this unqualified maniac at the ballot box.
Granted, but I don’t think there are enough leftist lunatics and illegals in NYC to help him pull this off.
By the time the election rolls around, the media will have shaved off all the rough edges and helped people forget that he is a radical islamist to boot. I think he has a good chance.
NYC, not so much.
