Remember when judges just followed the law? Those days seem long gone! Across America, liberal judges have been making up rules as they go along. They’ve blocked deportations, rewrote immigration policies, and acted like they run the country.
But what happens when judges break the rules themselves? Who watches the watchmen? This question is now front and center as one group of federal judges faces something they never expected – being on the receiving end of a lawsuit!
...
The Trump administration’s Department of Justice just dropped a bombshell. They sued all 15 federal district court judges in Maryland over a deportation order. Yes, you read that right – ALL the federal judges in Maryland are being sued by the DOJ.
What did these judges do? Chief Judge George L. Russell III issued an order that pauses any deportations under legal challenge in Maryland for 48 hours. This means any illegal immigrant facing deportation can file a last-minute petition and automatically get a two-day deportation delay.
...
The Justice Department isn’t having it. They called the judges’ order “unlawful, antidemocratic” and made it clear that judges don’t get to make up immigration policy.
The Justice Department said that a ‘sense of frustration and a desire for greater convenience do not give Defendants license to flout the law.'”
Judge Russell claimed the order was necessary because of a “recent influx of habeas petitions” that created “scheduling difficulties” and “hurried and frustrating hearings.” Apparently, following the law is just too inconvenient for these judges.
A spokesperson for Attorney General Pam Bondi didn’t mince words, stating this lawsuit is “just the latest action by @AGPamBondi’s DOJ to rein in unlawful judicial overreach.”
...
Judges Aren’t Above the Law..
The Constitution is clear about separation of powers. Judges interpret laws. They don’t make them. Immigration enforcement falls under the executive branch, not the judicial branch.
This lawsuit sends a powerful message: No one is above the law, not even federal judges. By creating a blanket 48-hour delay policy, these Maryland judges overstepped their bounds in a big way.
...
Law professor Carl Tobias from the University of Richmond called the lawsuit “a tremendous escalation” but admitted the Justice Department made “sound legal points.” Even critics can see that DOJ is standing on solid legal ground.
The judges’ order effectively creates a loophole for illegal immigrants facing deportation. File a petition, get an automatic 48-hour delay – no questions asked. That’s not how our system is supposed to work.
...
Key Takeaways..
Trump’s DOJ is taking unprecedented action against judicial overreach in immigration cases..
Maryland judges created a blanket 48-hour deportation delay policy that undermines immigration enforcement..
Legal experts acknowledge DOJ’s lawsuit makes “sound legal points” despite liberal outrage..
This case could restore proper balance between executive authority and judicial power

What’s the end result? The judges are fined?
At minimum, a fine or an accumulation of fines will be needed to get their sincere attention. Even a relatively small such penalty will have far greater impact than the most carefully worded note of rebuke.
Good luck with the suit!
If the judges get together for meetings either for discussion groups or socially, does that make them subject to RICO ?
Or is it considered just a "happenstance" ?.. asking for a friend .
The problem is swelled heads. Some peoples don’t need to be given authority.
The ‘no kingers’ could better relate these judges to their memes than our President who they are paid to protest on.
In third world countries the ‘no kings’ ruckusers would have great traction but those same counties would also be brutal to try the crap that they did here in.
Was this lawsuit filed before SCOTUS “declared rogue lower courts’ universal injunctions against President Donald Trump’s birthright citizenship order to be unlawful.?”
Liberals cannot deny conservative complaints about activist judges ignoring the written law. Trump has outed the whole infrastructure of left wing judges along with the dirty law firms who bribe them. I hope DOJ files to disbar the rogue Obama judges running wild in the justice system.
We need to judge these states with our consumer dollars, by boycotting them to the best of our ability.
Throw in RICO charges and add the AG’s of all the states that have conspired to obstruct Trump using Lawfare.
This has been going on for way, way too long. These judges think they are the kings of their domain and they can make up any rules they want. They are rabid far left Nazis who are hungry for notoriety by taking Pres. Trump down. And one more thing... show me a poor judge. Most of them are living way beyond what their salaries can afford.
What would happen if a federal judge ordered that every American must eat a ham sandwich everyday for lunch?
That ain’t kosher
This is the judges’ Achilles heel. They make up new law from the bench and have no basis in precedent or legislated statute.
Once this argument from DOJ goes up the high court ladder, these judges are going to be majorly reduced in their ability to stop Trump.
When Democrats say no one is above the law, what they are saying is that that ARE the law, and the boss of Trump and the little people.
‘What’s the end result? The judges are fined?”
I simply want those judges arrested with the keys thrown away.
“What’s the end result? The judges are fined?”
Gives defendants the potential to request change of venue due to the appearance of judicial malpractice due to political ideology and not the law.
The will all probably be presented with Nanzi Pelosi, Industrial Strength, Tribe Sized Gavels.
