Israel is reportedly trying to suppress this footage — the exact moment Iranian ballistic missiles struck and the Iron Dome defense system failed to intercept them. Captured during the height of the Iran-Israel conflict, this rare clip exposes the vulnerability of a system once considered impenetrable. Watch the unfiltered truth they don’t want you to see.

There is not much you can do against a ballistic missile that can evade.
Its a new problem for all air-defense systems, especially since the advent of decoy drones.
All technology is subject to eventually become obsolete. Humans may not be a fast as the Borg to adapt to new conditions, but they’ll get there in time.
It’s the worst k8nd of field test, one that can lead to death.
However, Israel will adapt and fix the problem.
Looks like you are continuing to be mentally deficient.
This video is from October 2024.
Here is one of many postings from Oct 2024 of the same video:

Sorry to ruin your celebrations.
Nice find Wayne! Fake news it is...
It’s not exactly a secret that some of these missiles are getting through.....after all, everything has a defect rate.
Having said that, Iron Dome is thwarting far more than are getting through so I see every one of those as a victory.
TBH, I really don’t see the point of this post.
Give me a percentage of the missiles that actually caused damage in Israel vs the ones they shot down or LET get through because they weren’t a threat.
Something like 1%<
Google AI
“Regarding the Iranian attack on Israel on April 13-14, 2024 (Operation True Promise), Israel reported a 99% interception rate for the more than 300 launched threats, including drones, surface-to-surface missiles, and cruise missiles. This means that only about 1% of the launched projectiles were not intercepted. “
So 3 out of 300 got through.
Nothing/no one is perfect (except Jesus)
Hello, some will get through.
It’s inevitable and no indication that the Iron Dome is failing.
mucho maggot man is a cretin from my beloved home state of Louisiana.
His general point of view (does it need to be stated?) here makes me sick.
Just recently, however........
From Amir Tsarfati’s Telegram account:
“”*Foreign Minister Gideon Saar:*
The Iranian regime launched a missile attack on Haifa and hit the Al-Jarina Mosque in the Wadi Nisnas neighborhood. The missile attack injured Muslim clerics who were in the mosque.
The Iranian regime is targeting Muslim, Christian and Jewish civilians, as well as civilian sites. These are war crimes.”
***********************************************************************************************
Myself, I wonder if these supposed targeted hits, like the hospital, the Cancer Research Center, and this mosque weren’t just chance hits.
I suspect that Iran doesn’t have the sophisticated enough technology to strike someone’s bedroom on the 3rd floor of an apartment building.
That is one of the better AI videos I’ve seen. But it’s still crap.
The guy is a Russian tool. He has been cheerleading Iran and doom posting for a while.
Overall costs:
The total cost of developing, manufacturing, deploying, and maintaining the Iron Dome system is not publicly known but is likely in the several billions.
The United States has provided billions of dollars to Israel for Iron Dome batteries, interceptors, co-production costs, and maintenance since 2011.
Prior to the October 7th attack, the US was estimated to have provided nearly $3 billion for these purposes.
The US has allocated almost $10 billion to Israeli missile defense systems since 1946, with nearly $3 billion going towards the Iron Dome.
In 2022, after the 2021 conflict, the US Congress approved a request for another $1 billion to replenish Iron Dome batteries.

excerpt:
In recent years, some U.S. and Israeli analysts have said that U.S. aid to Israel should be reevaluated because Israel is now a wealthy country—the fourteenth richest per capita—with one of the most advanced militaries in the world. Unlike Cold War-era Israel in the 1970s, when large amounts of U.S. aid started to flow, modern Israel is more than capable of providing for its own security, and the U.S. aid unnecessarily distorts the bilateral relationship and the countries’ respective foreign policies, these observers say. CFR Senior Fellow Steven A. Cook wrote in May 2024 that U.S. military aid should be phased out over ten years and replaced with a series of bilateral agreements on security cooperation, a move he says would benefit both countries and help normalize their relations.
The late Martin S. Indyk, former U.S. ambassador to Israel and CFR Distinguished Fellow, also called for reductions in U.S. aid. “The U.S.-Israel relationship would be a lot healthier without this dependence. Time for Israel at seventy-five to stand on its own two feet,” he wrote on X in June 2023.
Some experts argue that U.S. aid actually weakens Israel’s defense industrial base while serving primarily as a guaranteed revenue stream for U.S. defense contractors.
Ding ding ding - we have a winner ^
Thanks....what a jackass
I hear the occasional news report our naval assets in the eastern Med are helping to intercept the Iranian missiles. Any Freepers out there who have more info on that?
I guess it needs to be said again.Iron dome is for short range missiles, not ballistic. Look it up.
Now is the israeli and usa anti ballistic missile systems deficient? Possibly, I really don’t know.
I’d be wary of that 99% claim. Even if it’s true, note the qualifier that follows... “of those missiles engaged.” Chances are the Iranians have overwhelmed the Iron Dome with sheer numbers of targets. It also appeared to me that the Iranian missiles are deploying multiple warheads or decoys. It’s particularly apparent when you look at the night-time videos.
It’s also generally true that air defense systems will not engage a ballistic missile that appears to be headed to a non-vital area. Conserving ammunition.
