But, Amy Barrett is 100% pro-life.

Yeah, the "pro-life gestapo" overlooked all the warning signs. They gave her a pass on all the huge amount of negatives she brought along with her.

For the record, I am pro-life, but I don't let it blind me to the big picture. Coney Rabbit is a loss for our side.

That’s nice. Everything else she does utterly sucks. And America has to endure 40 more years of her emotion driven radfem BS.

She was a hideous mistake. Any one of other candidates would have voted prolife.

Never trust a dash woman with a brood of 3rd world adoptees.

“Amy Barrett is 100% pro-life.”

And I think that’s why she had so much support here on FR.

I’m sick of that being the single issue for both the right and the left. Abortion never EVER will be “fixed” until people have their hearts changed.

Concentrate on the First Amendment and keep religion free, and accessible to people who might be on the edge of making a murderous decision.

But, Amy Barrett is 100% pro-life.

A lot of people (particularly single-issue voters) assumed that because Barrett was anti-abortion that she would be an across the board conservative. That wasn't how it worked out.

I don't understand why sitting Presidents, even Republican ones, feel the need to replace females SCOTUS justices with another woman, or a black justice with another black judge rather than just looking for the best candidate. When GHW Bush chose Clarence Thomas for Thurgood Marshall's seat on the bench, it happened to turn out well for us. Trump's pick of Amy Barrett to fill Ruth Ginsberg's seat didn't turn out so well - we wound up with someone who's barely to the right of Ginsberg a great deal of the time.
