Immigration Riots and America’s Fascist Party (excellent summation of Dem fascism)
American Thinker ^ | Steve McCann

Posted on 06/16/2025 2:38:49 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

Over the past twenty-five years, both sides of the political spectrum have accused the other of being captive to fascism or its offshoot Nazism. With the Democrat party’s unabashed promotion of riots and violence in America’s cities, ostensibly on behalf of criminal illegal immigrants, and rampant antisemitism, it can no longer be denied that the party is captive to the tenets of fascism and its progenitor, Marxism, and utilizes the tactics the Nazi’s employed to seize and retain power in perpetuity.

While there are a number of inescapable and disturbing ways in the which the Democrat party emulates the Nazis, there are two intertwined similarities that puts to rest any question that the Democrat Party is little different than the Nazis.

The first is the use of indoctrinated militant cadres to foment street riots, property damage, extortion, and gratuitous violence supposedly on behalf of those they define as “oppressed” while blaming others as the instigators of the violence. The second is a psychopathic obsession and exploitation of race and its inevitable manifestation of rampant and unabashed antisemitism.

Both tactics work in tandem to achieve a pre-ordained objective—economic, societal, and cultural upheaval that leads to permanent one-party rule.

In the 1920s and early 1930s, the Nazi’s, seeking any excuse to riot, eventually settled on a specious claim that they were bringing attention to the dire economic plight of the average German. Behind the façade of concern for the average German, they utilized their militant cadre, the Sturmabteilung (SA), to instigate riots, damage property, and brutalize any opposition as a means of projecting power through intimidation while blaming the government or political opponents for the violence they incited.

Moaning about it is all well and good. The question is how to stop it from becoming septic? Again.

I don't believe that racism is an actual tenet of Fascism.

As I remember my history Italian Fascist were not anti-Semitic until Hitler took control of Italy later in the war.

I don't know the history of Spanish Fascism that well but I don't believe there was marked anti-Semitism there either.

Certainly neither Italy nor Spain initiated death camps for Jews.

You raise a good point—but the Democrat Party is already gangrenous. So, how do we fix it?

The first step in solving any problem is recognizing and defining it—and that’s what this article aims to do.

Oddly enough, many people still don’t see the problem for what it is. Centrist Democrats (there are some) still can’t grasp what a cancer their party has become. The solution is to wake up those remaining centrists and isolate the radicals. Once isolated, the radicals will lose power at the ballot box and can be dealt with through the legal system.

The way to wake up those centrists—and others who can’t or won’t see the problem—is to keep exposing the fascism in the Democrat Party for what it is. Fortunately, the Dems are helping by acting like the fascists they are.

Since the election of Donald Trump on November 5, 2024, a stunned Democrat party has been desperately searching for an issue or event its members could exploit in order to again foment street riots, looting, arson, and unconstrained violence.

The most obvious potential event for fascist Democrats to exploit is exactly the same event that was exploited by the arch fascist, Adolf Hitler. Hitler's party was without general support after the failed putsch of 1924 putsch and was not revived until the crash of 1929 with the ensuing devastating depression that struck Germany.

Consider the implications for the United States if the great Big Beautiful Bill fails to reconcile the version that comes out of the Senate with the existing House version. This failure of governance could well trigger the bond vigilantes to precipitate a sovereign debt crisis leading inexorably to a currency failure. If the Big Beautiful Bill does pass, but without enough cuts in federal spending to appease the bond purchasers (i.e. foreign and domestic governments and institutions), a similar crisis is likely.

If a black Swan event occurs, such as a war or another Covid, our top-heavy debt burden compared to our gross domestic product could also trigger a huge selloff and depression, inflation, or stagflation.

The nature of the pain will be affected by the market's reaction as well as by the government's response. In other words, if the government engages in another quantitative easing, this time no doubt to extreme as it is done in the past, the result might be inflation. If the government resorts to a limited easing it might result in stagflation because there is insufficient stimulus. If the government fails to react enough, or at all, expect a crippling depression.

In any one of these scenarios fascist democrats will sense blood of the water and exploit all the phony issues outlined in this article and, tragically, find a desperate electorate ready to put the Democrats in power where they too can burn down the Reichstag to complete the tyranny.

The Democrats and liberal left are exactly what they say they are fighting against.

They’re facist with a marxist ideology which explains how F’d up the are. They’re definitely racist with grandiose narcissism.

The NSDAP street gangs were little different from the Communist party street gangs of the same era. The fights in Bremen and Hamburg in the early 20s taught both sides how to operate, but the Communistss had Bolshevik handlers who taught them the tactics used in the Russian revolution.

Analogizing everything to NSDAP and SA methods and motivations ignores the basic conflict of post WWI Europe: the fight between European conservatism and Communism which had its first big victory in Russia, and was planning on overturning the governments of all of the continent.

And no these are not Puerto Ricans, they are illegal aliens from every third world Spanish speaking country on the planet. They are the worst of the cradle-to-grave welfare cockroaches (and yes, they vote for democrats).

Get them out, ALL OF THEM!

For centuries, Anti-Semitism was rampant throughout Europe and Russia before Nazis took over Germany...so they were already predisposed to that kind of thinking.

Hitler waited until he saw that he could succeed politically in Germany, before he amplified and magnified it. Finally, it became a primary focus of his agenda. It didn't take much to put his brand of Anti Semitism over in Germany.

Beginning with the French ‘Action Francaise’ and also with Mussolini's fascism...(though not to such a great extent), terror was always an element of fascism. But, with a racial spin Hitler's Nazism implemented a new level and kind of terrorism that had only been present as a generic common denominator of all fascism.

That is correct. Fascism as a theoretical position should be separated from the contingent idiosyncrasies of Mussolini, who was a second tier star on the international socialist circuit prior to the Russian Revolution, Hitler, Franco, and later fascist leaders — down through modern American leaders who would reject the label but readily gravitate to its practice — have many differences. Fascism as a theoretical position is about what unites them.

In essence, fascism is a progressive form of socialism that attempts to rely on cooptation of existing elites and other major social organizations, as opposed to complete appropriation of property, relentless class warfare, and the attempt to eradicate the past in order to create a new socialist man.

Carried to the extreme, the Bolsheviks executed or exiled to Siberia most of the people who knew how to make things run, installed mechanics to run factories, and generally waged war on competence. (This had the not-unintended effect of eliminating the tiny inner party dictatorship composed primarily of narrowly educated revolutionaries who valued theory uber alles and who were prepared to murder anyone who dissented.)

The fascists said, “No, maybe should keep the competent people in charge of running things that require competence, and find ways to turn them into faithful allies of the regime.” In the final analysis, the state would still set the parameters for “cooperation,” but as long as they remained loyal, pre-revolutionary elites could continue in place and keep the trains running on time.

It’s the difference between incompetents ruling at the point of a gun and political bosses, still the ultimate deciders, being willing to put people on a much longer leash.

Fascists extended the principle of cooptation to the core cultural and historical heritage of their subjects. They did not seek to eradicate the past; they sought to harness traditions and legacy institutions to a national project directed by new masters. Even Stalin rediscovered this principle after the Germans invaded and the commissars had to deal with the reality that very few Russians were willing to die for Bolshevism, which much of the population despised. The Orthodox Church was semi-rehabilitated, Russian heritage was stressed, and the Bolsheviks choked down their contempt enough to talk about Mother Russia and patriotism.

Had Hitler not been insane, he could have trumpeted that the Germans were entering Russia as liberators and treated the Russian people as allies. Many millions of them would have rallied to the anti-Bolshevik crusade, and Germany would probably have won the war.

Jonah Goldberg — yes, that Jonah Goldberg, way back when he was still a freeper favorite — nailed this in Liberal Fascism, the cover of which was a smiley face emoji with a Hitler moustache. He does a great job tracing antecedents, argues persuasively that Woodrow Wilson was a full-on fascist in American form, and outlines the evolution since then. The one-party blue states like New York, California and Illinois that are run by grifters and professional hacks and that institutionalize crony capitalism — legalized graft — are essentially fascist.

And it’s probably important to note that Trump is stumbling into dangerous territory when he starts hurling political demands not only at industry sectors but even individual businesses, demanding this or that in return for a clear policy quid pro quo. That’s not the government’s job.

The right is not immune from the temptation.

Hitler’s obsession with racial purity and the Jews was Hitler’s personal insanity. Germany was the European country in which Jews were most fully assimilated and accepted; it would have been the last place any rational observer would have expected the Nazi extermination campaign to break out. But Hitler had the microphone, and he succeeded in turning the Jews into a universal scapegoat. A lot of Germans didn’t buy into that, but most declined to become martyrs over it.

Well done.

My only comment would be that was Trump elected to lead a Fascist state.

We have been a Fascist state (lite) since FDR.

FDR as well as Wilson were closet Fascist. FDR was an open admirer of Hitler until he invaded Poland.

The US since FDR has pursued a Fascistic policy of Public Private Partnerships that pushes development of industry and the economy in directions that the ruling government wishes it to go.

Our government also uses tax policy to direct the economy and favor individual corporations. Some parts of the tax code are so specific that they can only be exploited by one individual company.

Regulatory agencies are also used and abused to favor some and punish others.

The Obama/Biden administration advanced the Fascist state immensely in its ability to reward and punish friends/enemies of the state.

Trump is making great effort to reverse this, but I suspect it is a temporary reversal.

It is the political cycle of Tyranny grows and Liberty retreats.

Thanks. I wrote earlier in haste and misworded a couple of sentences, but I think the meaning is clear.

Fascists were (and are) socialists, but they placed a much higher value on competence than did their Bolshevik cousins, who valued ivory tower theorizing and ideological purity uber alles.

The Bolsheviks saw a competent technocracy developed and promoted through a performance based meritocracy as a potential threat to party hack rule. They quickly learned that the technocracy was functionally necessary, but they moved systematically to develop their own, requiring party membership and demonstrated fealty as the price of admission to the professions. Make your bones, comrade, and then you will be encouraged to study engineering and the hard sciences. (I almost miss the days when good communists of college age studied engineering. Today they specialize in Grievance Studies, racialist theology, and gender confusion, because math is hard and that produces stratification in ways that embarrass The Narrative.)

The fascists saw the technocrats as an irreplaceable, indispensable resource that needed to be wooed and won to the cause, subjected ultimately to political discipline but held in line as much as possible by relying on the carrot rather than the stick.

Hitler collected industrialists the way that New York, California and Illinois democrats collect business elites in the industries upon which they will deign to bestow divine favors: play ball and we’ll help you establish your cartel, we’ll allow your price fixing, we’ll subsidize you if necessary, and we’ll make you rich. Just stay within our strategic parameters, insert a little political messaging as required, keep the photo ops coming, and kick some of the proceeds back to us. All of us will profit, the schlumps will pay for it, and by the way, we have some political hangers-on who need to be recycled and a few nepo baby kids who need jobs ....

Today, Oskar Schindler (in the early part of the film) would fit right in as a studio executive is the New Hollywood that Gavin Newsom is trying to build in California, having driven so much of Old Hollywood into exile.

The Bolsheviks relied on the gulag. The fascists preferred institutionalized corruption. Much more civilized. Franco and Mussolini were vastly more civilized — and much better educated, by the way — than Hitler. Hitler was a mentally unwell ignoramus with a gift for demagoguery. He was able to capitalize on a furious national resentment over the vindictive stupidities of the Versailles Treaty, which was driven by toxic French issues.

And his insane hatred of the Jews was a black swan event that led him repeatedly to throw away chances to win WWII, or even to salvage a negotiated peace after the failure of the Kursk offensive, which was really Germany’s last, slim chance on the battlefield.

The fascist left today tries endlessly to conflate fascism with the German nationalism and militarism of the 1930’s, which were largely reactions to Versailles, and Hitler’s anti-semitism, which was pure madness. The left does this to divert public attention from what fascism is really about.

Yep.

That is a concise description of our government.
