British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Saturday he would accept an investigation into grooming gangs who sexually abused thousands of girls.
Starmer had previously resisted a national inquiry into the scandal, Sky News reported, which revealed that mostly Pakistani men had groomed, trafficked and raped young white girls over a decade ago.
His change of mind on the matter comes after a government-requested audit found that a nationwide investigation was needed.
Starmer told reporters traveling with him to the G7 summit in Canada that he had read the report and would accept the recommendation for a national inquiry. He said it was “the right thing to do” based on what the audit found.
The 200-page report is expected to be released next week, and according to Sky News, it’s believed to have found that the abuse of white British girls was “institutionally ignored for fear of racism.”
He will form a committee of Pakastani Mullahs to conduct the investigation.
Yup. They will study it for 24 hours and declare that everything is fine.
Well, at least this is more than what the Tories did all of their years in office.
as long as it doesn’t get to close to his friends and colleagues
How long has this been going on? And they are just getting around to addressing this problem now?
Perfidious Albion will just sweep this under the rug.
One man’s investigation is another man’s cover-up.
And yet they continue to import hordes of the same foreign males that groom and rape young girls - which is supported by Starmer and his party, despite his weak promises to put a stop to it.
Will be same in this case - committee organized, years spent analyzing, studying, 1,000 page report issued - nothing will come of it.
Well, since he made his reputation freely defending pedos and groomers this ought to be interesting.
Might this be why some “young boys” of his previous acquaintance set fire to some places he used to frequent? A warning?
You’re a bit late don’t you think, Heir Starmer?
Man, Prime Minister Heir Starmer is slow with all the evidence around him!
