Trump is preparing to push Amnesty now...Reagan got conned into it...Mark my words.
I was at a bar in LA in April, and talked to a man and his daughter. When I told them my wife and daughter were Thai he said I’d better be prepared for them to be deported by Trump.
I responded my daughter is a US Citizen and my wife was denied a US Visa under Obama 4 times, but finally received one under Trump. So she’s here legally and I have no fear of her being deported. They got huffy and left.
“I have a feeling legal immigrants simply do not want to be associated with the ILLEGAL ALIENS because they jumped through all the legal hoops to be legal with a likely goal of getting US citizenship and try to blend into our culture.”
Agreed and the Democrats and their media fellow travelers conflate the two groups every chance they get.
I believe blacks disagree with sanctuary policies more than the group cited in the story.
One of the MOST underreported stories of 2024 was a black woman who held a high position in the Illinois state chapter of the NCAAP criticizing sanctuary cities and indirectly criticizing the entire Democrat establishment.
She got slapped down big time.
But to her credit she was representing a lot of the black rank in file.
Trump did very well with blacks and whatever exit polling might indicate, a lot of his black support came from the debacle of the illegal invasion.
My Mexican born (and Jewish, and obviously female) wife has voted for Donald Trump enthusiastically six times. She is unalterably opposed to illegal immigration of any kind, because she did it the right way, followed every rule, dotted every “I” and crossed every “T” - and that was done at no small expense, either. When the topic of amnesty came up around 2006 or 200inder Bush the Younger, she demanded that I call our congressman and get a refund of all of the money that we spent to get her all of the different legal credentials necessary for her to be a permanent resident and then a citizen. Of course, it doesn’t work that way, nor did I refrain from telling her that, but I understand the sentiment. I happen to think that this article is correct, that most legal immigrants want succeeding immigrants to do it the same way that they did, according to the law. All that illegals are doing, is trying to cut the line and cheat the system - even if they are coming here to work and pay taxes, not just to sit on some form of welfare.
Most Americans back legal immigrants. It’s the “I don’t give a **it” Joe Pedo 18 million illegals that Americans want out of OUR country. Especially those who think America belongs to them.
It appears that Democrats are the party of non-US citizens.
Of, by and for the undocumented Democrat voters.
The illegal aliens are just voting for Democrats citizens won’t vote for.
The illegal aliens also provide larger census enumerations for Democrat districts for greater representation in the House.
This isn’t news. Except maybe to democrats.
My lovely wife is a Filipina. And is now a US citizen. I can detail the process.
* Fill out the 100’s of pages of paperwork
* Pay thousands of dollars (”You must file form N-400, and the filing fee for THAT form is $600”)
* Wait MONTHS for your forms to be evaluated
* Wait MONTHS after that for an appointment at the embassy in Manila
* Get a full medical check at St. Lukes before your appointment at the embassy
* Get to the embassy at the crack of dawn as there’s a line around the block, and you don’t want to wait ALL DAY. And besides, you’ve been told to be there on THAT day.
* Come to the US LEGALLY
* Fill out a bunch more forms, each one of those has an associated fee
* Wait for your green card, and your work authorization (90 days)
* Fill out the “removal of conditions” form and file it. (With accompanying fee)
* Study for the citizenship test.
* Fill the form to take the test (With accompanying fee)
* Pass the test? You’re now a citizen!
The first form you file is the I-129F. And the USCIS is currently processing ones filed on November 10, 2024. So, it’s a 7 month wait for the 1st step to be completed. And the total process is currently taking around 275 days to complete. That’s just to get your fiance to the US.
For anyone not familiar with the process, THIS is what the legal immigrants go through, and why they’re offended by people who can just wade across the Rio Grande.
I never understand trolls. Go back under your bridge
I doubt you understand much of anything..certainly not a thinker ..
I predict all deportations will stop in a month
Over 527,000 to date and still going strong.....
Obama deported more than Trump has.
Of course he did, but he had 8 years to do it....3 million.
