Iran struck The Kirya compound, Israel's equivalent to the U.S. Pentagon, Fox News
There are a huge number of pro-mullah anti-Israel folks spewing garbage right now. I’m all about accuracy to defeat their giddy doom and gloom.
Jennifer Griffin and her lefty NPR husband must be in 7th heaven right now. I miss Catherine Herridge.
You are a better person than I.
I am now sorry for the mercy I have shown to the enemies in this country in the past.
Everybody seems to forget around here very easy.
They cant seem to remember when Barack the majestic negro was in office when there was a serious potentially successful insurrection going on in Iran and he turned his back on them.
Right there is where it all went south.
Then and peanut Carter letting the whole thing go to hell.
He said “this is Israel equivalent of the Pentagon”
He said “the building on this compound was just hit “
Unless you saw a longer version with more details
Obama was the cause of at least some of this due to his support of our enemies and his hatred for the American people.
“ Hitting a building that large isn’t hard, every defense can be penetrated.”
Think only the Palis build tunnels?
If the missle had struck that compound—that would have been impressive shooting.
Near the compound though is still better than the Iranians did in an earlier attack a year ago or so.
“Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?”
Hard to put oneself in that situation, obviously, but I suspect that the to-be victims knew that if they resisted, then their FAMILIES would pay the price...although that often happened anyway.
That’s the difference between being part of an active resistance. When they come for you, they also know how to find your family. When you come for them, as in an underground resistance, they don’t necessarily know who you are and thus how to reach your family.
I used the print version which was clear about what was hit.
I’m generally unwilling to watch video online. It tends to just waste my time.
I’ll stand by for the two reports from the same guy to be reconciled.
Ali Khameini will be dead within the next week. They are going after him with a vengeance. There is a common interest element group in Teheran that will expose him. I think the trigger is when Israel blows the oil production facilities.
Not confirmed tweet..

According to Israeli platforms: The latest strike on Tel Aviv may have hit Netanyahu’s underground bunker.

Israel is strangely unwilling to blow Kharg. I’m guessing that successive U.S. Presidents have dissuaded Israel because flattening Kharg would likely cause a world-wide recession with a long term oil price spike.
I’d do it, but I understand not pissing off your primary ally.
Savage is suggesting Israel could nuke them.
Massive operations like running a military or a large company historically required a large building. This is because until late in the twentieth century communications and coordination required that closeness. Now big buildings like the Pentagon are just big targets which would enable an outsized advantage to an adversary. The same is true of massive skyscrapers as corporate headquarters. The original reason for them is long gone. Now, they’re symbols of an individual’s power. See how important I am? My office is the entire top floor. Bow before me. It’s time to rethink how organizations are located and lead.
“So this means ... among other things ... Iran does not have nukes.”
No, it simply means they’d be obliterated by the US if they used one.
“No.
Civilian Persians? No.
No killing them.
The mullahs and islamists?
Have at it.”

This controlled minimal damage approach would not have worked in Japan in 1945. It’s unlikely to work in Gaza. I guess we will see whether the Iranian situation is diferent.
Not operational, yet
No, they did not.
