Mexicans in Los Angeles and families in the USA, what do you think!

Good man.
We have many Hispanic Americans whose forbears were here since before California was even part of the U.S. They’ve been Americans for many generations, and from what I’ve read, most of them despise illegal immigration and greatly resent the illegal immigrants.
I put myself in that camp. I’m not ashamed of who or what I am, but I have no allegiance to Mexico. None. It may have been the land of some of my ancestors, but Mexico has never done anything for me. I don’t have anything except I worked for it and I served my country proudly in the military and tried to make it a safer place for others in my long fire service career. I don’t hate Mexico, love some of the traditions and culture, but it is not my country. My family has been here since before there was a United States, but I am American through and through and would defend this country to my dying breath. God bless America.
I’m sure that there are many more like you.
Thanks for your response.
My niece is an 9th generation Californian. Her family
is completely assimilated for 100 year back. They want nothing to do with the new invaders.
Thank you for your service in military
And keeping your community safe now.
Excellent. He feels the way about Mexico’s involvement in illegal trafficking that many longtime US citizens of Irish extraction feel about Irish-American Democrat socialists and union thugs. What should ethnicity have to do with it, once you become a true American?
