The first members of the National Guard have arrived in Los Angeles early on Sunday morning following President Trump’s order to deploy 2,000 troops in the city after two days of violence and protests.
New video from ABC 7 in Los Angeles shows vehicles stopping in front of the Hall of Justice next to City Hall in downtown Los Angeles early today, hours after parts of the neighborhood erupted in riots in response to ICE raids on Friday.
Other footage shows troops driving through the suburb of Paramount, which also saw riots on Saturday.
California National Guard troops arrive in Los Angeles after clashes between federal agents and protesters.
Earlier, Trump praised the National Guard as he blasted LA Mayor Karen Bass and California Gavin Newsom for being “unable to handle the tasks” of calming the city.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth earlier warned the National Guard was being mobilized “IMMEDIATELY to support federal law enforcement in Los Angeles in a post on X.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Since Newscum objected to deployment, Trump is proceeding according to the Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C. §§ 251–253).
INSURRECTION Act of 1807.
[Determination that the various state and local authorities are not up to the task of responding to the growing unrest]
Call the ball.
The Summer of Love 2020 redux. And it’s not even an election year.
Arrest Newsom and Bass for helping the Terrorists
Is it the protests? Or are they cracking down on the rioting, violence and destruction of property?
Don’t fall for the Left’s framing. Protests and demonstrations under the Forst Amendment do not equal riots and violence.
Protest and demonstrate if you will. But cross the line, hell no.
We need to grab the narrative. This is very serious. Step one is drop the cutesy nickname in the President’s communications. Step 2 is address the nation to explain the deployment, including showing footage of the “peaceful protests” over the last couple days
Riots and violence have never equaled lawful protest. It’s about time they were treated as riots and violence. The traditional approach is that anytime someone riots, you reward the rioters.
As I understand it the NG will not be shooting at anyone. They will be “ in support”. Of course if/when they are threatened they can defend themselves
This will be inconsequential if there is no more rioting.
And their enablers.
And water cannons at full pressure, along with attack dogs.
“Or are they cracking down on the rioting, violence and destruction of property?”

Judges will let them all off. Hard to get any convictions in CA.
But there will be more rioting.
One thing thats helping us this time is that the Left has lost control of the narrative.
They are going to try to reuse the playback from 2020 and that wont help them this time because we have seen it all.
It will be interesting to see if there’s a problem with the deployed troops (re ‘citizen soldiers’ local to the area).
Prosecute on the federal courts.
>>Hopefully at least rubber bullets and tear gas, I hope.
That lacks sincerity. Live ammunition and permission to send it, or there’s no point in having those troops on the ground. They will be tested, and we can not afford to bluff.
“They are going to try to reuse the playback from 2020 and that wont help them this time because we have seen it all.”

Very good point. What matters now is the resolve to stop it.
