A federal appeals court is allowing the Trump White House to ban the Associated Press from the Oval Office and other restricted spaces for now in a ruling that blocked a lower court's ruling that claimed the ban was unconstitutional.

In a 2-1 order, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia granted in part a stay of the lower court's April 8 ruling that declared the content-based ban unconstitutional. Both of the judges who ruled in the administration's favor were nominated by President Trump in his first term.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

For those of us who have been concerned with Media Bias, the fact the Associated Press has been banned from the Oval Office is great news.

Those who work for and are associated with the AP are enemies of America

I can honestly say that I have not seen anything in the Constitution that says any news company has a right of access to the Whitehouse or that taxpayers are obligated to support these news companies with our tax dollars.

The First Amendment. Says that "Congress shall make no law....

Who the White House chooses to admit to specific areas is not a "law.". This idea that the press deserves some kind of affirmative, special rights not available to the rest of the population has no basis in the text of the Constitution.

The AP is free to report on the news that’s been reported by others. There is no free speech constraint on that.
