Seems like it would be a fun training exercise for a local submarine.

That should be covered under warranty and buff right out.
Saltwater loves electrical systems.
Imagine the confusion this must bring to fine folks like Al Gore and Greta Thunberg.
EVs: good
Out of control EV fires: bad
How will they ever process this?
🤔
From a Crew Safety and cost standard it may make more sense to have the EVs towed in a large barge, so that it can be detached if they decide they don’t like travel over the ocean. That way you also don’t have to ‘dilute’ them with real cars in between which puts critical transportation needs at risk.
Probably the best use of EVs. Sending ships to the bottom of the sea to crate new reefs.
Pass a law against it. And put signs on bouys all along the route - “EV Fire-Free Zone”. Eventually, “Blame Trump” will come into play.
Never fear, the Left will just label them “zero emissions fires”. Problem solved!
Battery electric vehicles. They are not yet ready for prime time. Great idea but lots of teething problems still need to be worked out. They really jumped the gun on EVs — pushed by the Green Nazis. I love the concept and advantages of BEVs but they really put the cart before the horse shoving them down our throats rather than letting the free market take its natural course.
New battery tech is most definitely needed. Li-ion is not the way to go.
.
Understanding the Dangers of Lithium-Ion Batteries Submerged in Water
"Fire Hazard Lithium-ion batteries are highly susceptible to catching fire when submerged in water. The water can cause the battery to short circuit, and as the battery heats up, it may ignite. Even worse, water cannot extinguish a lithium battery fire. Instead, it can exacerbate the flames, making........."
How many American democrats and other libtards driving EVs
Have to drive how many miles a year
For how many years
To offset the polution and CO2 emissions and damage to Gaia
Caused by the burning of the 600 foot long, 46,800 ton cargo ship and the cargo of 3,000 cars
And the eventual sinking of the ship including 350 metric tons of gas fuel, 1,530 metric tons of fuel oil and the cargo of 3,000 burned cars??
I need to get a globe. My first thought was why was ship up in Alaska. Is that the best route from China to Mexico?
Shipping that way should be outlawed. Make the cars such that final assembly with a battery can be done at the destination.
Saving the environment, one EV at a time. Or, in this case, 800 at a time.
Shorter. Same reason planes fly a “polar” route from say D.C. to the Middle East.
