Russia wants to employ their strategic bombers to attack Ukraine with no fear of retaliation.

It’s entirely possible the operation was planned in the UK.

The rogue MI6/UK establishment desperately dangerously attempting to maintain British power in world affairs,
and somewhat succeding by seducing generations of Anglo enamored US administrations.
The UK no longer matters. For the safety of the the world this Schiff must stop !

I don’t doubt the assertion but I want to hear the evidence.

Apparently the UK still matters to Putin as he strains to come up with excuses for his massive intelligence failure.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was true. I hope they covered their tracks awfully well.

Additionally, Russia is weak. They cannot do much beyond send some drones that kill Ukrainian civilians.

Imagine if, say, Iran had smuggled drones into the US through Mexico, and those drones had destroyed between 10-20% of the US strategic bomber fleet?

Tehran would be smoldering rubble within 48 hours, with the time lag simply for the US to ascertain fully that Iran did it.

Russia cannot do much beyond some drones towards apartment buildings. They did nothing beyond normal fighting when Kursk was invaded, the first time Russia was invaded since WW2. They did nothing when a significant chunk of their Black Sea fleet was converted into submarines that can’t surface. They have done nothing when their generals have been targeted by Ukraine’s spy service. Sooner or later that Crimea big will be brought down, and Russia will do nothing much beyond more drone strikes.

Paper tiger, with their only real threat being nukes that they can never use.

Yes, it is. But it is also possible that the operation was planned in and by Ukraine. The Ukrainian SSR was not a primitive backwater of the old USSR. They built ships and aircraft and no doubt played a big role in its military.

Attacking Russian military airfields/aircraft are legitimate targets for Ukraine. But not for the UK, the EU nor NATO. That is just asking for really bad things to happen.

Russia wouldn’t be able to do anything.

Even if the proved that the UK did it, what would Russia do? Attack RAF Typhoons, E-7s, and A-400s? The RAF does not even have bombers anymore, but even if it did (say some of those old sexy Vulcans), what would Russia do? Smuggle some Shahed/Geran drones to strike at RAF airbases?

Not going to happen!

Russia is weak.

Sure, Ukraine is not exactly winning the war, but neither is Russia. We are in year three. Kyiv is still functioning as a city. Russia’s economy has not collapsed, but it is a war economy. Any goodwill it may have had in Europe is gone. It better hope China doesn’t move into parts of Siberia. And even though Russia has probably killed more Ukrainians that the MSM would honestly say, they have also lost a lot of their own men in the process. Men it could have used to defend against NATO if it ever got to that.

Ukraine has been used to bloody Russia as well as reveal that Russia is not the big bad bear everyone feared for decades. Sucks for Ukraine, but also sucks for Russia, and is good for anyone that is not Ukrainian or Russian.

Nuke Britain’s five largest cities — you’d be doing England a favor.

Congratulations, Britain. Second time you’ve done something right since the Magna Carta. (WW2 was the other... and it’s not like they had a choice.)

Guess the daily mail didn’t get the updated estimates that put the number of planes damaged at 20 not 40 and with 10 of those being destroyed.

Yes the UK matters to Putin since it, along with France and Germany are attempting and continuing this US/UK/NATO war against Russia, to the extent of recklessly attacking Russia’s nuclear forces therefore extremely risking nuclear war,
all to get the US further dragged into this CIA/MI6 project to take down Russia.
You do realize that it is none of our damn business now, other then the fact that we instigated it ?

Salman: “It’s entirely possible the operation was planned in the UK.”
Or partially possible. Or not in UK, but in Mongolia. Or in Chile. Possibilities are endless for a great military mind “Salman”, whoever the F he/she/it is...
