“Are searches for terrorists reasonable?”
Are searches for Conservatives, Christians, and Pro lifers terrorists reasonable?
Because that is what will come from this.
This is one of the most dangerous things for Liberty and Freedom this Country has ever been faced with... Period.
But because the God Trump is doing it then it is completely acceptable. We will loyally follow even if it enslaves everyone of us and our next generations.
” We will loyally follow even if it enslaves everyone of us and our next generations.”
The Bush years.
“The Bush years.”
We are repeating the very same mistake. Enslave ourselves to make ourselves “Safe”.
Will it be completed at warp speed?

If you think that Palantir will only be used to find illegals or reduce fraud in govt spending, you are seriously lacking in comprehension.
Not only does Palantir know your address...they know when you will be there, they know which bedroom you sleep in and probably what you wear to bed and how much you paid for it.
This is not some simple database. It is a compilation of data and analytics from credit card companies, open source data systems, banks, social media, technology companies, phone companies, power companies, facial biometric scans, etc..
It is an unimaginably powerful tool. The government saying they want to use Palantir “just for immigration enforcement” is like someone saying they want to buy a computer “just to play solitaire”.
Like with the Patriot Act, we are being fooled again. This will be used against normal conservatives as soon as another Democrat is in office.
Only Nixon could go to China
Only Trump could setup a panopticon to monitor every aspect of our lives.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Just one more big cog in the ‘Beast System’.
I’m not a bit surprised at it happening.... But I am saddened at Trump’s embrace of it.
Just yesterday, My internet service provider demanded that I upload to them my “Real I.D. drivers license”, proof of my actual physical location, and my mother’s maiden name. I will not comply. So, I’ll likely be kicked off the internet soon. (My connection choices are very limited... what I use now, and Starlink.)
They gave me eleven years free room and board
Yes.
Palantir isn’t collecting our data. It’s not deciding what to do with it. It’s a data processor, not a data controller or collector. The federal agencies define the rules, the sources, and the outputs, and the agencies provide the data.
Palantir was not hired to spy, but to clean house. The goal is to eliminate waste, fraud, abuse, and decades of bureaucratic fungus. The potential cause for concern —what is worth real scrutiny— is that once data is better organized, it’s easier to misuse. The same tools that catch duplicate payments or filter out ineligible recipients could, in theory, be used to profile dissenters, target political enemies, or perish the thought, supercharge immigration enforcement.
That’s why progressive critics are howling, frantically trying to gin up a conservative civil rights panic. They could care less about our privacy. What they really fear is that the invisible galleons —the ghost fleets of siloed bureaucratic control— might stop sailing. They are freaking out that the Spanish doubloons of federal spending will no longer flow quietly into their NGOs’ bank accounts under the banners of “social equity,” “outreach,” or “compliance infrastructure.”

everything is about the grift. We see literally trillions in grift and yet everyone succumbs to “squirrel.” My dog isn’t that dumb.
The Deep State didn’t need Palantir to abuse its enemies.
Think COVID vaccines in Europe….They could have always grabbed one person off the street and injected them with an experimental drug. But it took a fake pandemic and the laws associated with it that allowed them to “legally” do it en masse.
With this new tool, the “legal” levels of surveillance and oppression will be unimaginable.
Bazinga!!!
