Dave Portnoy target of antisemitic comment during Barstool Sports pizza review

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was on the receiving end of an antisemitic comment as he filmed a pizza review in Toronto.

Portnoy, doing a review at Terrazza for his ever-famous “One Bite” reviews that was posted Monday, was outside the shop with a box containing a pizza pie as someone off camera went by and yelled “F–k the Jews” toward Portnoy.

“See, there we go, there we go,” Portnoy, who is Jewish, said after the person made the comment.

Some years ago, I was on a flight and got to my seat and settled in. A young man loudly told me that I was sitting in his seat when he came aboard with his wife. I looked at my ticket and showed it to him while he was shouting that I "was in his seat". I looked at his ticket and pointed at the row number and told him that his seat was in the next row.

He was not apologetic and loudly shouted "well, at least I'm a Christian!" and kept running his mouth in the seat behind me.

Reached though the gap between the seats and grabbed his neck and said "I'm a Christian too, but the kind that punches faces".

He and his wife were quiet after that.

I literally have NO idea who or what a “Dave Portnoy” is (I thought he was a drummer for TOTO or someone) but this kind of “hate” has no place in civilized society. The crowd should have curb-stomped the guy who shouted out and sprayed OC/MACE into his face for good measure.

I think this is commonly misunderstood. Properly placed, it is understood in the context of Israel and all Jews being brethren. This is about the Torah (the law) in Israel and does certainly not mean we should abrogate the Law in Leviticus which Jesus called the Second Greatest Commandment

Leviticus 19:16-18

Not saying this is the case, but I don’t trust any internet “influencer” to not stage events to help promote their “brand”. There’s a LOT of money at stake.
