Ping.
Every product that uses specialty steel not made in the US, will face increased prices - especially the auto industry.

Whoops.
Excellent.
The public seems to strongly support Trump policies on immigration. An articulate Tom Homan helps.
There is strong support for DOGE, for cutting the bureaucracy, for cutting government employment, for cutting regulations that hogtie us all. Spokes people on this are well liked.
The public is nervous on tariffs. They are definitely not pro-tariffs. But they are not anti either. They are skeptical and on the fence. It does not help that there is not a single spokesperson on tariffs that makes any sense. They have no logic. They have no charisma.
But it is interesting Target is going down, not due to tariffs, but due to boycotts from the left. And the media is blaming the stupidity of the left eating its own and not blaming Trump or tariffs.
Put simply, for tariffs to work, many more nuisance regulations need to be cut at both the federal an state level. How can Americans compete when they have to comply with all the nuisance regulations? Why do the pro-Trump red states not cut their stupid regulations?
Is it because the red states have state level swamps where the lawmakers and powers that be profit in legal and consulting fees from compliance with the regulations?
Many domestic made steel is required for a lot of products in the U.S. for safety reasons.
