At least you were able to grab a quick nap this afternoon. Still won’t watch tv as late tonight, I’ll bet. LOL

What rain there was in TN today stayed way up north so I was able to knock out the back yard and a little of the other yard. Tomorrow, I’ll finish and be able to relax for a little while. WHEW!

Wow! You’re on a roll! How good it will feel to have it all done practically at the same time.

That’s the way I used to feel when I cleaned my whole house in one day. Nowadays, I split it up into a few days. LOL!

No, I’m probably not staying up as late tonight. I’m already sluggish and it’s getting worse by the minute. *yawn*

Good evening, radu...gloomy today, but it is starting to sprinkle as I went out to feed the momma duck and 7 babies.

Just needed a few dry days in a row so I can get it all done. I wasn’t able to get the front yard at the old house done last time. This time I can and that’s tomorrow’s project.
Rain comes back later this week for a few days. *sigh*

I don’t clean the whole house at once any more. I do something every day. Much easier on the bum back and it never looks bad.

It sure HAS been gloomy up there today. Looked like it would unleash rain at any time, plus the wind was wild at the airports for quite a while. It’s finally calmed down.
Probably won’t get more than a sprinkle now but there’s quite a bit of rain heading your way.

Bet those lil babies are adorable. I wonder if other mommas will bring their ducklings to the yard soon.

A very pleasant good Monday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Kathy for this morning's thread and the outstanding article on Butch O'Hare. What an outstanding man he was.

Yesterday at Comanche Lake:

How's everyone doing this morning?

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
That crisp blue sky sure is pretty. No rain over here but we can’t seem to shake the cloud cover.
I reckon there was a decent crowd at the lake for you and Gizmo to avoid. A pretty day like that is to be enjoyed outside.

That’s what I do. Keep things tidy so that the only “major” job is the dusting. Hubby does the vacuuming. After having rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders, that kind of back and forth movement of the vacuum just kills me. I’m a wimp, I guess. LOL!

Good deal that you’ll get that other yard done. Then everything will look pretty.

Major is vacuuming. Dusting’s a snap. LOL At least your hubby does the vacuuming so you don’t have to wreck your shoulders. It kills my back but I can’t get any of the cats to do it. :-)

I kinda hope the clouds will stick around one more day. That will help keep the temp down a little like it did today. It was fairly pleasant. They’re saying mostly sunny and close to 90 though. Ugh.

Yuck, that won’t be much fun being out in, but maybe there’ll be a nice breeze to help keep it from feeling too warm.

Dusting would be more of a “snap” if I didn’t have so much stuff that i’ve collected over the decades. LOL! But I like my stuff and don’t want to get rid of it. Yet.

Anyhow, I’d better get finished and head out. I stayed up longer than I thought I would. See ya tomorrow!

I’ll probably end up going out at 6:00 again and it’ll be cool enough. There’s a lot of shade in that yard, which helps. If I can get out earlier, I will. It would be nice to eat supper before 9:00 for a change.

Not much stuff sitting around to dust due to the cats. What I do have is in a large china cabinet and I only need to dust those items a couple of times a year. Furniture and some picture frames are quick to do so it doesn’t take long for regular dusting. Easy chore.

Sleep well and late! Catch ya tomorrow.

Yep, there were lots of people out there yesterday. At least we were able to get around some.

We couldn't get to the pavilion yesterday because there was a gathering down there. We'll see how today goes.
