Governor Hochul, who hopes to get re-elected, laid out her housing plan to keep people from leaving New York during the USA TODAY interview. She is pretending people are leaving because there aren’t enough houses for them. In reality she wants to get rid of single family homes and replace them with apartment buildings.
New York governor Hochul, who is always wrong, thinks that people are leaving New York because there’s not enough housing. She plans to build a lot more ‘housing’, claiming a dire shortage. With the enormous number of illegal aliens in New York, she wants a lot more low income housing and apartment buildings. She has demanded that every municipality meet housing growth targets. In Suffolk alone, she wants 850,000 apartments. Thus, in the countrysides of Long Island and the Hudson Valley suburbs, we see apartment buildings being erected and zoning laws being destroyed with stacked housing. Grants are going out for this type of new housing to buy officials’ cooperation. And, coincidentally, this aligns with the World Economic Forum and UN sustainable goals.
There Is More Prisons She’s also closing three more prisons and castigating the workers who have been victimized by the violent prisoners. They’ve been so abused and put in so much danger that the guards went out on strike for 22 days. She fired many of the strikers. Fracking She won’t let those of us in New York do any fracking of our own gas but she will possibly consider piping it in from Pennsylvania. The ironic thing is it’s our gas that Pennsylvania is syphoning off and charging us more money for than if we did it ourselves. She won’t actually do it anyway. It’s only something she says to get reelected. Hochul likes to pretend she cares about our exorbitant expenses.
A local utility worker told me she is personally installing 2” gas pipe to heat her swimming pools at her personal residences.
I honestly never thought I’d wish to see the day when cuomo was still governor.
Burn the world to the ground and rule the ashes.
Get rid of single family homes and replace them with apartment buildings, Drone Cities ,LOL
Nice to know being a governor pays so well.
Multiple residences and all.
Kidding of course.
Will she also build a wall around the state ? Sounds like a movie ,LOL
Live in an apartment
Exclusively use public transportation
That is the plan for all Americans
That's the ticket!
It’s an Obama idea. It’s called “middle housing” with the interspersed within sigle family dwellings with everything within walking distance and more use of public transportation. It is for us peons while the upper echelons live in areas set aside for them and their multiple mansions.
Oregon is doing it and California is going full bore with it in the fire damaged areas.
They figure we don’t need cars or that much living space.
“In Suffolk alone, she wants 850,000 apartments.”
In Suffolk alone, she wants 850,000 apartments, and 849900 will probably got to illegals free gratis.
You will own nothing and be happy.
You are banned from driving.
You are banned from owning a car.
Your public transportation card logs everywhere you go, and when.
You will soon need a permit to travel.
These things are coming.
I would not live in either State. We should pray that the people who live there, stay there.
Not to worry! She will handily win reelection. The average NY voter has less intelligence than a tapeworm when it comes to what party to vote for. The majority of New Yorkers have Democrat branded on their brains and NOTHING will change that. When taxes and regulations become intolerable they move to a state that hasn’t been ruined by Democrats and promptly vote Democrat.
WHORECHUL,
WHORECHUL
WHORECHUL
WIRE AROUND NECK
She doesn’t mean leaving the State, she means leaving NY City. She doesn’t give a crap about the rest of the State. Andrew Cuomo was the same way.
He wasn't any better. He started the prison closings, and closed more psych centers, which his father started doing when he was Governor. Then Mario turned the psych centers into prisons. Vicious cycle.
I’m trying to remember just what the Obama deal was.
Cities were supposed to get grants and other goodies to build apartments in neighborhoods.
I live in the Phoenix suburbs in a single family home that I like very much.
But, they are building apartments around us like crazy. No infrastructure visible, ie., roads, water, freeway, bus, to support that many people.
These are likely to be single people that occupy the apartments. No place for families, unless they become the disasters that they built in the east during the 50s and 60s.
Somebody is getting a BIG pay off.
They have all bad choices. Rent freeze guy. Geriatric killer. Hochul
