Russia has been consistent with its demands for more than a year -- full recognition of the annexed territory, the removal of NATO from Ukraine, guarantees of Ukrainian neutrality and protection for Russian speaking and Russian orthodox worshipers in Ukraine.
Those demands aren't the least bit unreasonable and will not change.
Ukraine either agrees or Ukraine continues to shrink or, ultimately, not exist.
