King Charles sends firm message to Trump on ‘values’ and free trade

In his speech to the Canadian Parliament, the King sent a stronger-than-expected message to Donald Trump today.

In the face of the US President’s goading, imposition of tariffs, and threats to annex his northern neighbour, Charles III warned Canada was facing unprecedented challenges in the postwar era in a world that has never been more dangerous and unstable.

But he insisted Canada would protect their self-determination, forge new economic relationships with allies based on free trade, strengthen their military, and in a pointed signal to his old friend in the White House, a big fan of the Royal Family, he stressed that the Crown would act as a force for stability and unity.

“As the (national) anthem reminds us, The True North is indeed strong and free,” he told parliament, citing a line from O Canada.

The King went on to suggest that Canada could be forced to seek alliances further afield from its troublesome nearest neighbour. “Canada is ready to build a coalition of like-minded countries that share its values, that believe in international co-operation and the free and open exchange of goods, services, and ideas. In this new, fast-evolving world, Canada is ready to lead,” he said. The 76-year-old monarch, making his first visit to Canada since he became the country’s King in 2022, also reflected on the efforts of the country’s new Prime Minister, Mark Carney, to dial down the rhetoric since his election victory in April and sent a quiet, diplomatic message to Trump about Canadian values of mutual respect, while also emphasising Canada’s sovereignty.

"The True North is free,"

No King should dare speak of such a thing.

>> Canada is ready to build a coalition of like-minded countries that share its values...

China, North Korea, and South Africa?

>> The 76-year-old monarch...

Gobsmacked here! Didn’t know the old queen was 76!

Canaduh can not defend its northern border.

It needs to bow to Trump to do so.

The speech is written by Carney and his leftist government. Charles has to read it verbatim and he has no say in what he says. Same thing when he does it in the UK. Charles may or may not agree with the current Labour govt. in the UK but he has to read the speech from the throne regardless. Normally the Governor General as the representative of the monarch does it in the colonies and only on rare visits does the monarch do it. This was all theatre orchestrated by Carney and gang.

Free Trade ala King Charles , Canada trades with America like Britain traded with all the native tribes. Hey Canada, grow some and throw out the Monarchy. and give the Quebecois their independence so you don’t have that millstone on your neck. Haiti of the north you soon will see.

This is the same King that invited the Trumps to a state dinner in London in a few months. Should be a lot of fun.

Who gives a rip what this inbred idiot has to say?

Does this twit not realize that without our trade and our military protecting them the UK would be toast?

You picked the oerfect quote... stability.

When the devine rights of kings no longer applies to this Muslim convert, he has lost his mandate to rule.

There is no stability if the king is not a chrisian adherent to the laws of his own country.

His position allows for no personal religious conversion.

The royal family is not, royality. He is an upshurer.

Ever since I was a child and heard my mother recount her distress over the Prince of Wales taking up with an American divorcee, I have been fascinated by the apparent hold the Royals have on Americans, especially female Americans. I have enough Irish DNA in me to be fairly skeptical of the value added as opposed to comic opera diversions for Britain of the royal family. On the other hand I have said, if the English fired the House of Windsor they would have to run right out tomorrow and hire a new royal family for the American tourist trade.

No matter how much tourist revenue the royal family generates for the UK, they exist ultimately only at sufferance of the people. That relationship must not be imposed upon or people will withdraw their support and the fairytale will end.

History tells us that monarchs intrude into politics at their peril. The Tzar of all the Russias and Kaiser Wilhelm became too identified with the actual conduct of World War I and so they and their houses of Romanoff and Hohenzollern were swept away.

Prince Charles caught a round of criticism for his speech some years ago about architecture, hardly as intrusive as his present admonition to Donald Trump. Perhaps as King he should study history.

Carney is the ultimate globalist WEFer who didn’t live in Canada for much of the last 20 years and in that regard, he and King Chuck are on the same page as far as globalist goals that oppose the US from every standpoint. Chuck was only in Canada to support and reinforce that agenda. It seems clear that Carney was installed as prime minister to further the globalist ends and specifically, he is in Canada to supervise its destruction by continuing the sellout of the country that was rampant under Trudeau.

The last election was a sickening fraud as the Liberals stole pages out of the DemRat handbook to figure out what strategy to use to pull themselves out of the hole that Trudeau had put them in. To that end, they concocted their “hate PDJT, the Conservatives with PP are just in bed with PDJT, elbows up, we will never be a 51st state” scheme. No sooner was the election over, Carney flew to DC, met with PDJT to kiss his ring and the entire elbows up hoopla/charade has been put to bed and the state run enemedia has never mentioned it again. This is a fairly good article that summarizes this fairly well…. https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/carney-dropped-most-tariffs-the-day-after-meeting-trump

In 2021, Carney wrote a book called ‘Values’ and it is actually quite insightful as to what it reveals about him. For starters, it becomes quite evident that he is a huge admirer of Marx and Lenin. He is very anxious to please the ‘climate wackos’ and the book pushes the idea of Net Zero carbon from cover to cover. https://canadiandimension.com/articles/view/i-read-mark-carneys-book-so-you-dont-have-to This is a review of his book and it was done by a leftist...but even he can’t hide what Carney is saying. If you read anything in this article, click right to the bottom and read the commenters who have far more figured out than the reviewer does.

As for PDJT, he is a patient man. He knows what Carney is up to and will be ready to go to pick up the pieces as the destruction takes place. He also is well aware that Canada is a serious narcostate criminal enterprise where that fact has been cleverly withheld from the Canadian public and in the end, the picking up of those pieces will also involve dealing with that problem.
