Grading Trump: Where the president stands in the eyes of Americans four months into his second term
Fox news ^ | May 24, 2025 | Paul Steinhauser

President Donald Trump this week enjoyed one of his biggest legislative victories during his second administration.

"THE ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL" has PASSED the House of Representatives!" Trump touted in a social media post Thursday.

The president's post came soon after the GOP-controlled House passed Trump's sweeping tax and spending cuts package by a razor-thin margin. The Republican-crafted measure is full of Trump's campaign trail promises and second-term priorities on tax cuts, immigration, defense, energy and the debt limit.

Ahead of the House vote, two surveys released earlier in the week indicated that the president's poll numbers remained underwater.

My only wish is that a lot of these executive orders would become law by Congress

I’m not sure I’m happy with the Big Beautiful Bill. Too much spending and not enough cuts.

My understanding is so far nothing has been enacted that will put the DOGE discoveries into law and for sure none of the thieves have been identified or arrested.

No wonder Elon said he’s done enough.

Congress won’t do it because they want to go back to looting our land and getting rich off the taxpayer, once Trump leaves. They think they are so clever. Bunch of low IQ scumbags.

The polls are biased as always. Ask any “American” and he’s doing great.

“My only wish is that a lot of these executive orders would become law by Congress”

Ditto. It’s outrageous how both houses are obstructing his agenda. Is the nation doomed to being whipsawed every time the administration changes to the other party with 1,000 old EOs being cancelled and 1,000 new EOs being signed on January 20? That will be the demise of US industrial leadership. No business can plan in that chaotic environment.

Can voters separate personality from policy?

"The president stood at 46% approval and 54% disapproval in a national survey by Marquette Law School. And Trump was at 42% approval and 52% disapproval in a Reuters/Ipsos poll."

Marquette Law School???
Reuters/Ipsos???

Is this supposed to be humor?

Now, and always, these organizations are the scum-bucket propaganda source for any Marxist parties or candidates...

Why doesn't FOX simply reference the mouthings of the American Communiat Party directly?

“The president’s post came soon after the GOP-controlled House passed Trump’s sweeping tax and spending cuts...”

That’s some real turd polishing by FOX, it’s a RINO/uniparty/GOPe controlled house. In addition to President Trump’s agenda in the bill is a typical RINO porkfest. Some $2 trillion more just as Xiden pushed through.

DJT is fine. But, the doofs he sent over to DOJ are losers. Apparently DEI hires. No jail time. Depts have not been purged. Basically, just keeping the seats warm until Newscum becomes next Pres.

There is no way Congress will limit its ability to spend money. They buy their reelection with our money and get rich in the process. Only once in American history has the Federal debt been zero. That was under Andrew Jackson. It should be obvious by now our National Debt is a systemic problem. . Milton Friedman showed that the cure is a Balanced Budget Amendment. Article V is the only way to get that.
