During the COVID pandemic, public health officials were obsessed with presenting a united front and a grossly oversimplified message regarding anything pandemic-related.
Is masking up a good or bad idea? There was little to no data that it was a good idea, but once the idea was pushed out there, everybody fell in line.
That 6-feet social distancing guidance? The idea came out of nowhere and had zero scientific evidence to back it up, but soon enough, we were all standing in lines outside in winter because we had to "follow the science." School closures? You will murder grandma if you go to school, despite the fact that European nations and many states dropped the idea quickly without consequence.
And then there was the COVID vaccine. The evidence that it was dangerous for some people to take it came in fast and furious, but the government and the vaccine manufacturers covered it up for months, and still deny that, for most people, the costs of getting vaccinated outweigh the benefits, not to mention the obvious fact that the vaccine is neither safe nor effective in preventing the infection with or transmission of COVID.
Most of the things the government told us during the pandemic were lies or exaggerations. Many of the deaths in the early stages of the pandemic were iatrogenic--caused by treatments, not the disease--and many deaths attributed to COVID were caused by non-COVID diseases or even accidents. Deaths WITH COVID, not from COVID. We will never know how many of the deaths attributed to COVID were unrelated to the disease, but the numbers are certainly high.
There is a lot of evidence that the COVID vaccine increases your likelihood of getting COVID, and no evidence that the risks from COVID for most people exceed those of getting the shot. There is a segment of the population who do, apparently, benefit from the vaccine, and we know who they are: old and very sick people. Certainly not 6-month-old babies, who until just a few days ago were routinely being "vaccinated" against COVID in the United States and nowhere else.
In an interim report released by Senator Ron Johnson, we finally get the evidence of what most of us already knew: the Biden administration KNEW that the COVID vaccine was dangerous, but they delayed telling us for months.
Top federal health officials actively took steps to “delay warning the public” for months in 2021 about the potential risks of heart-related complications from receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, a scathing interim report from Sen. Ron Johnson’s office alleges.
Starting in February 2021, federal health agencies had been alerted to “large reports of myocarditis” in young people who received the Pfizer vaccine, but waited until late June that year to adjust the vaccine labels to make that side effect known.
“Even though CDC and FDA officials were well aware of the risk of myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination, the Biden administration opted to withhold issuing a formal warning to the public for months about the safety concerns, jeopardizing the health of young Americans,” the 54-page interim report said.
As sympathetic as I am to many conspiracy theories around COVID, I don't think they did this to kill off a slice of our population, but for the simple reason that they didn't want the COVID messaging to be muddled by the facts. It is the same reason why they recommended COVID boosters for everybody--if you admit that most people don't need them and may actually be harmed by them, it would make the public health messaging seem contradictory, or at worst, make the government look like liars.
In order to avoid looking like liars, they became liars. They did this time and again. They claimed that the vaccines would stop the spread of COVID, knowing that they would not and could not do so. They pushed mandates on a population of young and healthy people--the military--not because it would benefit the soldiers, sailors, and Marines, but because it was consistent with their messaging. They knew they would be harming countless people, but they believed that their credibility was on the line.
Keep it simple, stupid. The American people can't handle the truth.
Surely, there were some in government and in the pharmaceutical companies whose motives were far less pure--there were billions of dollars to be made, and the immunity from lawsuits ensured that the conscience-free could rake in the dough without consequence.
But for the majority of those who shoved all this down our throats, the motive was more mundane: they wanted us to do whatever they told us, so they refused to tell us the complicated truths.
And, of course, they wanted to cover their backsides, like hiding the fact that Anthony Fauci and company funded the creation of this virus.
The arrogance of these bureaucrats knows no bounds. They, for their own reasons, decided to put millions, even billions of people at risk in order to promote a Narrative™ that they were "following the science," even and especially when there was no science and when the science contradicted their prior statements.
By mid-April, a Defense Department contractor involved with the Pentagon’s work on immunization delivered a presentation to the COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Technical (VaST) working group that concluded “there is a high likelihood that cardiac symptoms following COVID-19 vaccination represent a hypersensitivity eosinophilic myocarditis.”
By this time, there had been more than 158 cases cases of myocarditis, pericarditis or myopericarditis reported on the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
The following month, the COVID-19 vaccine was approved for adolescents and members of VaST “felt that information about reports of myocarditis should be communicated to providers.”
Top health officials also began deliberating releasing a draft National Health Alert Network (HAN) warning about myocarditis and pericarditis side effects from the vaccine.
“The pros and cons of an official HAN are what the main discussions are right now,” CDC official Dr. Sara Oliver wrote to Moderna on May 25, 2021. “I think it’s likely to be a HAN since that is CDC’s primary method of communications to clinicians and public health departments, but people don’t want to appear alarmist either.”
About a day later, then-FDA commissioner Dr. Janet Woodcock wrote in an email to then-CDC director Rochelle Walensky that the FDA was opposed to blasting out the warning as drafted.
It was little noticed and quickly dismissed that, later during the pandemic, the top two vaccine safety officials at the FDA resigned in protest over approving boosters. They were so disturbed at how the vaccines were being churned out and recommended despite inadequate safety checks that they blew up their careers and threw away their chances at very lucrative jobs in Big Pharma to blow the whistle.
Their objections were dismissed, and the media downplayed the dispute. Because preserving The Narrative™ was the most important consideration.
I don't believe that any of these officials wanted people to die from vaccine complications. They were just indifferent to whether they did.

What am I saying? Of course they don't. That was a dumb question. Forget I asked it.
Not only did the Biden Administration cover up the fact that were serious vax side effects, they ridiculed, discredited, intimidated and punished anyone who tried to warn the public.
It seemed obvious to anyone following the scientific blogs and YouTube channels. Credible people were sounding the alarm about excess deaths early.

Got a lib biden lover across the street that used to run 5Ks, 10Ks and such but dutifully went out and got his 1st shot when biden told him to, and then like a mindless lemming, later got a booster....again because biden said to.
Since those 2 shots he has been diagnosed with AFIB, has had to have a pacemaker implanted and recently received his SECOND ablation......no more running now.

The best thing to happen to my two nephews is that they both god Covid, they were going to get the shot but thank God the day before the scheduled vaccine the oldest one got covid then everyone in the house got it so he said “Thank God I got it now I dont need the stupid shot”
The “official” scientists convinced the idiot elites that natural immunity was fake, in spite of plenty of evidence to the contrary early on.

The entire covid plandemic was a population reducing exercise, intentional in nature.
Public health official with delusions of being gods. And góvt.employees wonder why they are distrusted & despised.
Anyone working for any company that had contracts that could be traced back to the federal government had to take the shots or they would lose their job. Lots of states mandated all of their employees had to take the shots or else lose their jobs. So, while it wasn’t a matter of taking the shot or going to jail, many people were very strongly coerced to do so.
