Fired US govt workers, Uncle Xi wants you! – to apply for this fake consulting gig

Chinese government snoops - hiding behind the guise of fake consulting companies - are actively trying to recruit the thousands upon thousands of US federal employees who have been fired since President Trump took office.

Cyber and information warfare experts at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) uncovered five companies they say are part of a larger Chinese intelligence operation that posted ads on LinkedIn, Craigslist, and other smaller job boards and websites targeting former government employees on the hunt for new gigs.

One Craigslist ad pitched: "Job Opportunities for Recently Laid-Off US Government Employees."

It says: "We understand that career transitions can be challenging, and we are here to help make the process as smooth as possible. If you have recently been impacted by a government downsizing, we encourage you to reach out and see how your experience can contribute to our dynamic organization."

FDD began its investigation upon spotting RiverMerge Strategies on LinkedIn while searching for geopolitical risk consultant positions.

As of press time, both RiverMerge Strategies' LinkedIn page and website were offline. According to FDD, the firm had claimed to specialize in geopolitical risk consulting and listed offices in Colorado and Singapore. The biz's website, however, listed a phone number beginning with "400," a Chinese prefix.

China is slowly but surely surging ahead of the US in critical technologies.

To anybody crying about tariffs, tell them that the long term threat from China is far more serious and real than crap on Amazon and Walmart getting pricier temporarily.

Now is the time for all good freepers to come to the aid of their country and pollute the chicom call for federal workers with dilution, fake data, and sabotage.

The problem that I keep seeing with people here is that they’ve NEVER lived in a country that wasn’t King of the Hill, so they cannot imagine that maybe we got, perhaps, a bit too complacent (to say the least). Classic case of Normalcy Bias (and I bet you’ll see some of that in response to our postings!).

So, for example, while China and Russia were perfecting their Hypersonics, we yawned and said “so what, we are America, so we’ll always King of the Hill, no matter what they do”. Same thing regarding our educational system - “so what if the Leftists wreck education while other countries take it seriously, we are America, so we’ll be always King of the Hill, no matter what they do.” Same with culture, immigration, DEI, marriage...the list is endless.

I just hope we don’t learn the truth the hard way.
