17 arrested, 10,000 fentanyl pills seized in narcotics trafficking operation across DMV

WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — The Washington Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced Thursday that it arrested 17 people in connection with firearms and narcotics trafficking.

The investigation spanned over five states, including D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Texas. 122 firearms and 10,000 fentanyl pills are now off the streets and in the hands of authorities as a result of the operation.

The 17 people arrested were allegedly in the U.S. illegally, according to the ATF.

"They will be in the process of being deported back to the country where they were originally from and they will no longer commit violent crimes in the United States of America," said Anthony Spotswood, ATF's special agent in charge.

It looks like the Trump Administration is keeping these guys out of the criminal courts, as would be expected since the recent court rulings in favor of criminal illegals.

It more or less refers to the coastal plain of those states, east of the fall line, the darker areas …

If you look at the map of the states south of the Mason-Dixon line, the worst parts of those states are east of the fall line. Historically there weren't many slaves west of the fall line. The darkest areas are east.
