Judicial Coup Exposed: New Bill Proposed to Answer Courts’ War on Trump and America

A bold legislative proposal, the “Restoring Constitutional Mandate for Congress to Set Rules for the Federal Courts Act,” seeks to rein in what its author warns is an existential crisis – a “judicial coup” targeting President Donald Trump and the American people.

Drafted by Jonathon Moseley, a 24-year legal veteran and founder of the Patriot Legal Defense Fund, the bill aims to rescind the Rules Enabling Act. The Constitution empowers Congress to set the rules for the Federal courts.

But Congress generously trusted the U.S. Supreme Court with this honor and prestige. The bill includes a rebuke of U.S. Supreme Court Justices who have abused their constitutional role.

On May 12, Chief Justice John Roberts – who never criticizes misconduct by judges, politicized lawfare, or abuses against conservatives – issued his third attack on President Trump.

Roberts has not seemed to grasp that respect is earned, not demanded. But when judges like Roberts criticize only one side of the political world, they lose all credibility.

Roberts made similar veiled threats against the Trump Administration in Buffalo on May 7, the week before.

The previous week Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson added to a seemingly-coordinated drum beat.

On May 8, Justice Sonia Sotomayor basically rallied the nation’s lawyers to fight an insurrection against Republican officials, speaking at the American Bar Association.

Moseley argues that judges should never be speaking outside the courthouse to maintain the public trust.

“The ABA has sued Trump over federal grant terminations,” yet Sotomayor was speaking to a litigant in an active lawsuit.

Active members of the ABA are already the most left-wing and activist lawyers compared to most attorneys just working for clients.

Jackson openly urged lawyers to fight the Trump Administration, with very few coy, thinly-veiled allusions.

This is a huge part of the problem:

From this self-contradictory remark, one can only deduce that John Roberts believes the Judicial branch to be superior to the Executive and Legislative and therefore to have the legal authority to overrule either or both.

Obviously it has no such authority, and to assume so is absurd.

One might argue that two of the coequal branches of the Government have the legal authority to overrule the third;

However, if they be coequal, which they are, none has the legal authority to overrule one or both of the other two branches of the Government.

Here are some numbers reported today. Russian and Ukraine are almost in agreement on Russian casualities at around 1000, the rest are Russian for the 16th and Ukraine always posts a running total count of the conflict.

Note: I post these casualty statistics to remind viewers of this channel that the conflict in Ukraine is not merely, or even chiefly, about territorial gains.

It is about destroying the opposing army and not just its military equipment. Soldiers are being killed and maimed.

These casualty statistics are government statistics. I trust the viewers of this channel have sufficient savvy to know that all information provided by a government should be taken with a grain of salt, if not a saline IV.

Ukrainian Casualties Reported By the Russian Defense Ministry on May 16

MOSCOW, May 16 – RIA Novosti. The Center group of forces liberated four settlements in a week, defeated the formations of 18 Ukrainian brigades, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces exceeded 3,040 servicemen, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

MOSCOW, May 16 – RIA Novosti. The Dnepr group of forces defeated the formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades in a week, the enemy lost up to 380 servicemen and five ammunition and property depots in the group’s area of operation, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Friday.

MOSCOW, May 16 – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian troops lost over 1,330 servicemen and five tanks in the area of responsibility of the North group of forces in a week, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

MOSCOW, May 16 – RIA Novosti. The Vostok group continued to advance deep into the enemy’s defenses and liberated the settlement of Volnoye Pole in the DPR, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Friday.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry’s report indicates that the Vostok group inflicted losses on the manpower and equipment of three mechanized, ranger, airmobile, airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a marine brigade, two territorial defense brigades, and a national guard brigade. The enemy lost more than 1,130 servicemen over the past week.

MOSCOW, May 16 - RIA Novosti. Units of the Southern group of troops occupied more advantageous lines and positions. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 1,400 servicemen and a tank over the week, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

MOSCOW, May 16 - RIA Novosti. Units of the “West” military group took control of Torskoye in the DPR in a week; the losses of Ukrainian troops amounted to more than 1,490 servicemen and three tanks, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces have eliminated 1,100 Russian military personnel in one day, as well as destroyed 13 tanks, 32 AFVs, 36 artillery systems, and one MLRS, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to May 16, 2025, are estimated to be:

military personnel - about 971,690 (+1,100) Russian troops were eliminated;
tanks - 10,825 (+13);
troop-carrying AFVs - 22,546 (+32);
artillery systems - 27,908 (+36);
MLRS - 1,385 (+1);
anti-aircraft systems - 1,167 (+1);
aircraft - 372;
helicopters - 335;
UAV operational-tactical level - 36,123 (+123);
cruise missiles - 3,197;
warships/boats - 28;
submarines - 1;
vehicles and fuel tanks - 48,713 (+166);
special equipment - 3,892.

Remember one thing about Trump; he armed Ukraine just as did Obaman and Biden. Trump is left holding the bag. Biden lost the war and Trump is trying to salvage the financial assets the underpin the EU Central Banks and US deals with Ukraine. Trump see’s that Ukraine is on the ropes and cannot hold the Russian’s back anywhere anymore. Soon all the financial assets and ports that the West got for pennies on the dollar from Ukraine will be under Russian Management.

Trump doesn’t give one damn about casualities; he is a dollars and cents guy. He is holding a losing hand in regard to assets in Ukraine, now.
