A fast growing county is not a good thing.
Particularly when it’s growing by design via illegal immigration.
I’d like to know how much of that growth was illegal vs natural...bet it’d be closer to negative if that were accounted for
They are visualizing illegal immigration.
Deport all illegals, and these tall stacks of blocks in the toilet counties will dissolve.
No. I left Palm Beach County, FL 21 yrs ago because of the growth. Now, the county I moved to is looking very much the same…uncontrolled growth with lagging infrastructure support. Apartment buildings, car washes and gas stations everywhere.
“”””Harris County, which includes Houston and neighboring communities, had by far the biggest population growth. The primary driver of the county’s growth was international migration. On a domestic basis, more U.S. residents moved out of Harris County than those that moved into the area.”””
Having spent 10 years of my life in Houston, I am of the opinion that Houston is among the worst places to live in the USA.
“ The only county on the list to see a bigger boost from the natural change in population (births minus deaths) compared to net migration was Kings County, New York.”
A very misleading statement. Kings County is Brooklyn, and the births measured are mostly from previous “immigrants.” This is a symptom of advanced stage population replacement: anchor babies and more cultural disintegration.
At least Tom Homan now has a target list.
These local idiots tout weather, economic growth, and good for business tripe and then after 10 years of influx they decide to fix the roads and make life miserable for about 10 years, then start the cycle again. Property prices and taxes skyrocket and nobody can afford to live here. They turn utopias into hades.
New York and Kings County in NY are the NYC boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, respectively.
But counting by raw numbers is bogus, give the massive range in the size of counties.
Indeed count the California and NY plates.
Anyplace they go it’s the same.
Brevard, Florida is on fire, so an expanded tax base should lower property taxes...right? /s
Just kidding...mine keeps increasing.
I live in one of the counties around DC. I hope we make the population “biggest losers” list.
I know my neighboring Florida county, Polk, isn’t illegal immigrants - That’s Sheriff Grady Judd country.
Hurricanes, tornadoes, desert, etc.
Collin County, is probably all Indians moving in.
