Months after the Trump administration ground U.S. refugee admissions to a halt, the program meant for people fleeing war or political persecution has restarted — but only for one group: White South Africans.
Plans are underway to fly approximately 60 Afrikaners to Dulles International Airport on a State Department-chartered plane Monday, with federal and Virginia officials preparing to receive them in a ceremonial news conference, according to documents and emails obtained by The Washington Post, as well as three government officials familiar with the preparations.
The arriving families, who are part of a group that President Donald Trump has said face racial discrimination, will then be resettled outside Virginia in at least seven states, according to those familiar with the plans, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to share details of the preparations.
“The U.S. government is prioritizing the resettlement of Afrikaner refugees, and [the Office of Refugee Resettlement] is coordinating services to ensure they receive the support they need from the very initial days of their arrival,” Miro Marinovich, who oversees the Refugee Program Bureau at the Department of Health and Human Services, wrote in an email to other federal officials on Wednesday. “The first flight of Afrikaner refugees is set to arrive on Monday, May 12.”
A State Department spokesperson did not answer questions about the flight but confirmed in a statement that embassy officials have been “conducting interviews and processing” in accordance with a Trump executive order in February. That directive to Cabinet officials looked to promote the resettlement of Afrikaners as refugees due to a recently signed South African land redistribution law that allows for property to be taken away without compensation in some situations.

This is exactly what a refugee is. It isn’t some gang member running from another violent gang in their own shithole country.
They are the very definition of refugees, the kind that should seek asylum in our country.

The 1924 Immigration Act specifically limited immigration to people from Northern Europe. When LBJ and “The Swimmer” replaced that with the 1965 act, no one said that people from Scandinavian and Teutonic descent were heretofore excluded. On the contrary, they claimed that the newly allowed immigrants would be few, and not “change the ethnic balance”.
Both outright baldfaced lies. Teddy actually said there might be no more then “about 100” overall Asian immigrants per year.

The Afrikaners fit well within the existing non-refugee component of the original 1924 Act and the modification represented by the 1965 Act.
They are farmers and will be able to make a contribution in skills to our country.
This article is such BS. Trump is not basing a decision on whether a refugee is “white” vs. “non-white.” South Africa is very close to an official government policy of killing whites for their farms and confiscating their wealth. If that policy is in place in a Latin American country with respect to a certain minority, the US would let those victims in.
And the problem with that is?
After all, SA should progress at a much greater rate when all those thieving white trash folks are removed, and bringing all those cheating white to the U.S. will obviousy bring our economy down, not improve it like those millions of illegal immigrants, oops, I mean future Democrat voters will.

IOW, according to WaPo, it’s ONLY President Trump’s word that racial discrimination is occurring ... no mention of official SA legislative acts confiscating and dispossessing WHITE farmers of their farms, equipment and homes BECAUSE THEY ARE WHITE! ... and that the per capita murdered rate of the white south african population is three times higher than for the black population ...
They can use the monies saved from the defunding of public radio and television.
Because this group of people are real refugees while the others are just economic migrants.
