Russia has called on the two countries to de-escalate and find a peaceful solution.
“We are deeply concerned about the escalation of military confrontation between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack near Pahalgam,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in an official statement Wednesday.
“Russia strongly condemns acts of terrorism, opposes any manifestation of terrorism, and emphasizes the need to unite the entire international community to effectively combat this evil.”
“We call on the parties involved to exercise restraint in order to prevent the further deterioration of the situation in the region. We hope that differences between New Delhi and Islamabad will be resolved peacefully, through political and diplomatic means on a bilateral basis .”

Bad Vlad Putin is hurtin’ for certain. The oligarchs know that pond scum Putin is bad for the Russian hydrocarbons exports business. The average oligarch loves facing west to do business and vacation there. His wife buying luxuries there. His children going to schools there. UK especially where they will also learn English.
Moron Vlad prefers (desperation) facing East to China and North Korea to keep his war going. Muslim maniacs Iran too. This is unnatural for Russians. Invading Ukraine was/is facing west. Vlad invaded to annex Ukraine, to bring 43 million more Slavs into Russian demographics, that are being swamped by Muzz and other non-Russian minorities.
IOW Russians are Europeans who naturally gravitate to Europe, not Asia.
Since Russia is downwind of India and Pakistan, i can understand why they would want the two to deescalate.
Pull out you idiots and surrender! Putin should be tried for crimes against humanity. They did so against Germany for invading countries borders.
