John Fetterman’s camera-thirsty wife has done him dirty.
New York Magazine published a hit piece on the Pennsylvania senator Friday, airing grievances from his staffers who are concerned about his mental health, his views on the Israel-Gaza War. The piece also shed light on Fetterman’s relationship with his left-wing wife, Gisele, who secretly communicated with his staff and made a political disagreement into a full-blown argument.

Gisele visited her husband’s senate office in November 2023, weeks after Hamas attacked Israel, and got into a heated debate about the burgeoning war and her husband’s support for the Israeli state. Gisele also went behind her husband’s back, reportedly texting staffers in the wake of their fight on multiple occasions.
“I am at breaking point and I can’t co-sign this any longer. Id love some help in language to separate myself from this. Can anyone help me?” she texted one staffer after the November tiff.
At the tail end of 2023, Fetterman was “acting bizarrely,” the report claimed, and in one instance walked into a group of people in the Capitol, seemingly oblivious of his surroundings.
“I don’t want to sound defensive, but I want to be clear that this isn’t just me. Everyone here is feeling alarmed,” a staffer texted Gisele.
“I don’t think for a second that it’s you … My fear is something is off and it won’t register,” she responded.
Let’s just forget about the politics for a moment. A husband and wife may disagree about political issues, and that’s perfectly okay. But they should always keep their disagreements private, more so, of course, if your husband or wife is a sitting U.S. senator. Gisele should never have stormed into his office and argued with him over the Israel-Gaza war. It’s unbecoming and embarrassing for both parties involved. She may be passionate about the pro-Palestine cause, but she has no business turning her disagreement into an absurd spectacle for his staffers to witness.
And secondly, Gisele should never have texted those staffers without his knowledge — it was a sly, disgraceful move. She also should have known that at some point, those texts could be used to attack her husband. She did not have that foresight, obviously, but maybe that was her intention all along.
Gisele has devoted her life to helping others, with a focus on nutrition, food equity and meeting Pennsylvanians’ basic needs.
Fetterman went off the Dem reservation to oppose Schumer and the Squad, angering both sides.

Mediterranean Sea. After years of covering for Joe Biden, NOW they suddenly become armchair psychiatrists.

Yeah, she’s proud of those.

This woman is a far-left activist, she cares nothing about being unbecoming. She just cares about the struggle. She also cares nothing about her husband. She cared about him when it was politically expedient to care. Now that he’s shown some moderate to conservative views on some issues, he’s no longer useful to the cause. If she thinks her action will cost him reelection and pave the way for someone more in line with her views, she’s fine with that.
Damnzit. I hope RATs cut this out. I don’t want to be forced to have to defend Fetterman.
Just a guess, you may be a Trump supporter. Otherwise you would be out protesting for it.
When Democrats “elected” Fetterman, their plan had always been to have his wife, Gisele, in charge of that seat. Remember when he was campaigning and just after he was elected, she was front and center in any press conferences or pictures. In at least one picture, Fetterman himself was practically cut out of the photo.
Gisele was there decorating and arranging his new office and it appeared she was designing it for her own use instead of the new Senator.
Then, Fetterman went away for treatment and when he returned, he was practically a new man. His speech had improved and he seemed to be healthier. Suddenly, Fetterman was taking charge of his office and making his own decisions. His wife was no longer speaking for him and didn’t appear at his side each time he spoke in public. The left hadn’t planned for that.
When the Senator started being vocal about supporting Israel, and even spoke of supporting Hegseth, that was the last straw. Now, Gisele is going behind her husband’s back and plotting with his staff members to remove him from the Senate. I believe she plans to assist in ousting her husband so she can take that Senate seat.
It means what equity means everywhere the Left uses it.
If we can’t feed the entire world, we need to make the rest of the world starve.

Why are they picking on Fettermans’s wife?
Judging from her self-edited bio, she’s the epitome of “tolerance and compassion.”
Gisele asserted she has “devoted her life to helping others,” with a focus on nutrition,
food equity and meeting the basic needs of her husband’s Pennsylvania constituents.
The long knives are out. And not in a subtle manner.
If what she exhibits and believes isn’t reason enough to kick her to the curb, he truly does have very few brain cells working.
Exactly—for a leftist anyone and everyone is expendable—the revolution is job one.

Good fellow travelers are willing to sacrifice anyone and anything, even parents, children and spouses. Must report to the local Commissar that Comrade Fetterman is politically unreliable.

Ask “Mike” Obama. In her opinion, food equity means no ‘food deserts’, where there are no available supermarkets within walking distance, that stock fresh fruits and vegetables.
The believers in food equity, rarely seem to address why the inequity exists at all. Usually, a section of the city is without full scale grocery stores, Walmarts and Pharmacies because of shoplifting/ armed robbery/ violent or disruptive customers simply letting off steam and having a tantrum over rules and standards. Oh, and a high Homeless population too.
That can drive a business down, when you see Bums loitering nearby all day and into the evening.
