Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) said President Donald Trump’s tariffs caused the world to see the United States as an “unreliable partner.”
Host George Stephanopoulos said, “I think you identified the tariffs as the number one issue. Liberation Day is probably the most consequential day of the first 100 days. Is there an exit strategy for Donald Trump on this?
He asked, “Can he make this sort of series of deals that limit the damage?”

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Deep State still Deep.
christie cant see his own shoes.
Yeah, we’re much more reliable when we let them ass rape America.
They saw themselves as entitled to treat us like suckers. Now, like all entitled babies, they're sobbing and whining.
The MSM still refuses to tell the story of what is taking place because of tariffs. So far, 50 countries are in line to renegotiate their tariff policies. Dozens of companies have announced the construction of new production facilities in the US. Trump knows that foreign companies need access to US markets far more than the US needs their products. Alas, it takes time to build new plants and Americans are so short-sighted they can’t see the long run. Even worse, the long run to a politician is their term of office.
I’d rather be an unreliable partner than a reliable sucker.
This is why he was sidelined a long time ago.
He could win the Olympics’ 100M dash. Just put a TV camera at the finish line.
This grotesque walrus needs to keep his fat gob filled with Little Debbie Poot Creme Cakes.
What does this fat bag-o-crap know about economics?
Former Governor Fat Fatso weighs in...
In the not too distant future BMW and Mercedes will be exporting their cars from the US to Germany. They know it, and Trump knows it.
You can’t run factories on air and solar.
Shaddup, fat boy
Chris Christie is wrong - what’s really happened is the American people are seeing the ‘world’ as a bunch of ingrates and unreliable ‘partners’.
We’re the ones will scales falling from our eyes.
American citizens find it unforgivable that countries we’re helped and defended in past decades pay us back by ripping us off. Or paying off democrat filth with diamonds, favors and buying their multimillion dollar ‘speeches’. We know a bribe when we see one. The ‘world’ needs to stop pissing on our leg and telling us it’s raining.
Uniparty gonna uniparty
Just really dislike seeing it from folks supposedly on “our side” because liberal socialist media frame them as representing us
Another way of saying it is we need to stop paying the countries of the world to be our friend. Its embarrassing to pay others to be our friends. And they really arent our friend, they just take our money.
We’ll see who our real friends are.
“The Congress shall have power...To regulate commerce with foreign nations”
The “shall” means Congress can change international trade terms at any time of its choosing.
The terms of Congress should include the US right to sell to a country a product that may be generally sold in both the EU and US generally or service that may be generally sold across US state lines as well as generally between EU countries.
If the foreign country doesn’t accept the terms of Congress, trade should be limited to bartering US products for the foreign country’s products.
An oldie, but goodie ---
After a government shutdown left the state beaches of New Jersey closed for the start of the Fourth of July holiday, thousands of people had to find other ways to enjoy their long holiday break.Except for one: Gov. Chris Christie.
Christie and his family were spotted on Sunday lounging on the sand at Island Beach State Park — one of the numerous parks and beaches closed by a government shutdown that ended Monday night after local lawmakers negotiated a budget deal.
