The number of assisted deaths could be more than 4,000 in the 10th year after the law comes into force in England and Wales if MPs vote for it, a review of the policy says.
The estimate forms part of the official impact assessment, external, carried out by civil servants to inform MPs as they debate whether to allow assisted dying.
It said initially the numbers coming forward would be low, but are expected to grow over time.
The impact assessment says that the total number of assisted deaths is estimated to range from between 164 and 787 in the first (half) year of the service to between 1,042 and 4,559 in year 10, and assuming a start date to the policy of October 2029.
The upper estimate of just over 4,500 assisted deaths would still only represent less than 1% of all deaths, the document said.
The impact assessment also provides a financial analysis of the costs and savings involved – it is not a document that gets into the ethical or philosophical arguments for and against the policy.
It comes as the bill returns to the House of Commons later this month, with a crucial vote that will determine whether the bill becomes law expected to happen in mid June.

Well, when you think about it, assisted suicides are a way for the left to willingly reduce their numbers.
The left will use assisted suicide to reduce your numbers. The ultimate goal is to be able to legally kill anyone they want to. Declare the patient insane, ward of the state, medicate and then euthanize because the patient is depressed. Far right extremism is mental illness.
They kill people in other ways.

Oct 25, 2012 — Hospitals are paid millions to hit targets for the number of patients who die on the Liverpool Care Pathway, the Mail can reveal.
They have been murdering 120,000 people a year. You are put on a death list unknown to you. This due to your age and medical history.
If you call for help they will not show up, if someone else calls and you are picked up then you could wait in the ambulance at the hospital or on a gurney in the hall. If you have relatives come with you and are put in a room, what the staff will not tell them is the patient will not get any medical care or water.

How long does it take to die once you are in the liverpool care pathway
It usually involves the withdrawal of nutrition and fluids and increases the amount of sedative and pain relief administered to the patient. If the Care Pathway is initiated and progressed appropriately death usually occurs within 29 hours
A lot of very sick or elderly people waiting in ER on beds etc. in hallways because no ward/room available. Awful

I agree its awful this withdrawing treatment goes on more than we think sadly doesnt it? It’s horrible to see it as official policy during this week of all weeks (VE DAY). It’s kind of giving me Nazi vibes.
How do they get away with it?
We used to consider assisting another person’s death to be homicide.
