1200 fewer instigators of color revolutions will go a long way in restoring democracy in the rest of the world.

Did Trump get permission from any Federal Judge?

Jimmy Carter was last to try, cashiering 2,000 CIA agents. Former CIA Director George H.W. Bush (41) got revenge by working with them to give the Ayatollah Khomeini $43 million to lengthen what should have been at most 4 days of the “student” takeover of American diplomatic facilities to 444 days, kneecapping Carter’s presidential reelection campaign.

Natalie Winters just said that the 1200 would be mostly from attrition of older employees who have already claimed they were retiring.

“Idle hands are the Devil’s playground.” I think there are a lot of idle hands at the CIA, USAID, and elsewhere in the government.

That point was made later in the article.

It is best to keep CIA folks nice and calm since they have a nasty habit of assassinating folks when they get agitated.

Agreed.

Our liberties will never be secure as long as CIA and NSA exist.

Right. Same with similar articles about cutting off Harvard money and laying off workers at various agencies.
Judges rule over the country and God has to ask them permission, too. /S

That’s a new one, when did you guys come up with that one?
Did he fly over there in the floor board of an SR71?

Exactly. Do we even have to guess that’s coming? Some Rat judge in Timbuktoo who thinks he has more power than the POTUS. Biden can open the border - allow fentanyl to flood into the country, allow rapists, killers, gang members in, all of which victimize, kill US citizens, he can throw money at Iran, Hamas, takes bribes, fly illegals into unsuspecting cities late at night, and not one judge says anything.

Bush the Elder was caretaker CIA chief for one year, appointed probably to calm the waters, as an outsider with no personal agenda, and therefore above the fray, whether relative to the James Jesus Angleton mole hunt or the Church Committee grand inquisition. Lefties blew that up into Bush having been a CIA guy all his life, and Dr. Evil incarnate.

But the main point is that there will be on firings.   The leftist liberals will see the headline and immediately make that claim that President Trump is firing divisions of intelligence agents.

They will regroup as a non-government spy group. They already have been that way to an extent.

Agreed—most of the really nasty stuff (CIA, NSA etal) is outsourced to a variety of private contractors.

That keeps them far away from FOIA requests, Congressional investigators and in some cases hides the operation from White House staff.

That has created and continues to create a situation where the “Deep State” becomes unaccountable and impossible to effectively monitor by anyone.

Continuing my post—what I want DOGE to do is stop those agencies from paying any contractor invoices—and then see what crawls out of the woodwork.

Make them justify payment to the White House—great way to find out what is going on out there.

When the contractor says “I can’t tell you. You have no need to know” the WH can say “fine—sue us for nonpayment—we look forward to discovery in court to find out what you are doing”.

Thank you. I trust none of the 3 agencies - FBI, NSA and CIA.
