Gun control groups don't like it when life is peaceful. They may say they want a reduction in so-called gun violence, but they also can't raise money when people aren't freaking out about that so-called gun violence.

With that in mind, it shouldn't be surprising that they're willing to misrepresent the facts.

Ever notice that semi-auto rifles have been around since 1903. Yes 1903 yet they were never a problem till 1984 when the democrats saw them as a “Target of opportunity” to ban.
Before that the promise by the lying democrats was...”We ONLY want to register and ban HANDGUNS! RIFLES and long guns will NOT be affected!”
If they can get a semi-auto rifle ban to stick rest assured they will be back after the handguns.
We never had this problem till the mental institutions were closed down in the 1970s and the crazies dumped on the streets. Mass murder then took off like a rocket.
