Elon Musk & DOGE reveal Department of Education officials were using TAXPAYER DOLLARS to rent out STADIUMS and CAESAR'S PALACE for parties..
BLATANT THEFT.
@elonmusk : "As soon as we started requiring them to upload receipts, all this spending STOPPED."
ANOTHER reason to abolish the DoE!
...
Everyone in governmenr does that. They have all of these conferences where they go and drink and eat and talk to each other and have little “panel discussions” to regurgitate information everyone always knows.
I figured everyone knew about this grift? The community colleges in California would do 1-2 week retreats in Hawaii twice a year for the leadership teams back when i was an admin assistant for one 20 years ago.
...
Tell me again how the DOE was helping the children's education?
...
They blew taxpayer cash on Caesars Palace and stadium parties until Elon asked for receipts.
...
Proof the Department of Education is a corrupt money pit. Shut it down.
...
The Department of Education isn’t educating anyone; it’s looting the treasury.
Sue them all individually into oblivion. Everybody who ripped off the tax payers should die broke.
Of course they were that is why the commies and some republicans are all upset we found their slush fund on our damn dime
The only people at all surprised at this are also surprised when the Sun rises in the East.
We also finally get to meet Big balls

Meet “Big Balls” the kid living rent free in the heads of DC’s most powerful bureaucrats

I’m feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg.
NEA has spent $$$ like a drunken sailor on leave in Subic Bay.
A civil servant’s (aka bureaucrat) and politician’s credo:
“What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is mine!”
The Department of Education was leading by example—teaching young people how to grift.
Everything was cheap there.
bttt
It’s called: misappropriation of fiduciary funds/property
As the usual suspects cheerfully create programs 'for the good of mankind' and start them up with modest financial donations with stipulations, their participation ends quietly as they hand their creation over to the taxpayers under the dominion of politicians. Usually democrats.
Here, once more, DOGE brings to light an out of control spending boondoggle rooted in the type of progressive perturbation tailor made 'for the good of mankind'.
Yet, when their dreams crash into our financial realities they, the usual suspects, don't get a mention; rarely is an individual democrat mentioned either, unless the scam has been going on so long the political honcho is dead as in this case...
From https://resource.rockarch.org/story/the-rockefeller-foundation-confronts-school-inequality/
...In December 1963, the Foundation awarded a grant for a promising new initiative, the Princeton College Summer Program (PCSP), after DeVinney started hearing reports from college recruiters that they could not find qualified minority students for admission...
...The PCSP proposed to address this problem by preparing, and helping colleges identify qualified minority students for university admission...
Initially funded with an RF grant of $150,000 over five years, the PCSP selected 30 to 50 students described as “youngsters who had shown good but not fully realized potential,” from low-income schools across New Jersey.Show Citation 55The program was designed and implemented by Princeton undergraduates and professors, as well as local high school teachers, and featured math, science, reading, and writing curricula, as well as off-campus field trips and organized social activities. After the program, students received follow-up academic counseling and college application sessions from PCSP staffers.Show Citation 66
...When the Princeton program began receiving federal funding in 1966, its selection criteria changed. The new federal funding came through a program called Upward Bound, established in 1965 as part of President Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty. Johnson’s programs pumped billions of federal dollars into new education, job training, and community action programs through a new national bureau called the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO).
Tasked with alleviating poverty, not only with helping select individual students apply to college, Upward Bound mandated that the PCSP accept candidates from more economically-disadvantaged backgrounds. Under these guidelines, only students from families earning below a certain annual income level would qualify for the program...
And so it goes
OMG! What a bunch of degenerates.
I wish they would look into DOD conferences some day. Thousands of conferences, site visits, oversight meetings, audits, team buildings, diversity training, etc. I know many who rack up millions of miles, platinum membership, etc.
BTTT
Claw back the loot? Could be fun.
The most important question Jesse waters asked was, are these people going to be prosecuted? is the DOJ receiving this information to investigate? The American peoples patience is running thin indictments and prosecutions is demanded
