Our economy and our military are vital to the entire world. Anyone who messes with us, is going to have to try and fly solo. And they can’t.
We could end up in a post-WWII world where most of the industrialized world is somewhat devastated, and America is sitting pretty, saying “I manufacture stuff again. Want to buy my stuff?” That was the Golden Age in which the Baby Boomers grew up and reaped vast rewards.
We are a consumer nation. Have been for a while. That is why they constantly pirate our manufacturing capabilities.
Then, we have to consume products they manufacture.
