Not all airports are created equal. Some are soulless, clinical spaces with little more than bright blueish lighting and endless corridors. They are but a functional building from which to launch your next adventure. Others, however, can make your vacation experience special from the outset. The world’s best airports go above and beyond. They feature indoor gardens, rooftop terraces with runway views, or even playgrounds to keep the kids happy and occupied.
These added luxuries and services have landed 100 airports on the Skytrax World’s Best Airports list this year, with Singapore Changi Airport taking the top spot for 2025. Anyone who’s flown Qatar, Singapore, or Emirates can understand why the top eight airlines are Asian, according to Skytrax. It’s no surprise that airports in Asia also reign supreme, but this year, four European airports also made the top 10.
Since aviation-ranking organization Skytrax launched its first airport customer satisfaction survey in 1999, travelers worldwide have been voting for their favorite airports. The rankings account for everything from public transport options and waiting times to cleanliness, choice of food and shops, and accessibility. In 2025, Singapore took its title back from Doha’s Hamad International Airport, which received the first-place award in 2024, 2022, and 2021.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
It’s beautiful.
I tell people you have not really flown until you fly Emirates in business class or higher. Everything else is a greyhound bus by comparison. JSX comes a distant second but still better than any American airline bar none.
Not just the airport, the whole city is top notch - safe, clean, wealthy, beautiful....
I thought Newark had the World’s Best Airport followed by Philly
Somehow I knew Atlanta’s Airport wouldn’t be on the top of the list.
Atlanta is way better than JFK, LAX or DFW a pox on any of those three.
I go out of my way to avoid DFW...this is the way to fly out of Dallas even if I need to connect to another airline at a JSX served city somewhere else to get to my final destination. They bring your luggage too you in person and you are behind security when they do at whatever airport you land at you can check your bags at the next airline’s gate behind security so beautiful.

LOL!
And Phillt has such great passengers too:
In fact, no American airport made the list.
I’m in the Pacific NW so never heard of JSX - I hope they come to Seattle.
I’ve flown private a lot and dread the airports - I’d definitely do this if they came here.
I flew tai air many times and once from Chicago to Seoul Korea business class. Heavenly!!!!!
Can you be more specific?
I don’t know about JSX, (what do the letters mean?)
I thought that this is a charter service, ie a private flyer.
I fly out of Atlanta with Delta. I find them to be a safe and comfortable carrier.
JSX does not use that airport.
Mike Lee has a bill that does away with Federal Airport Security and has the airlines doing the security.
It would make Atlanta airport much better. I have Global Entry, TSA and Clear and I cut right through, but this is rediculous. IF hyou fly alot the airports should know you.
The HUGE MISTAKE made by the US was to allow DEI control of the airports (due to allowing inner cities to run them), for generations now...so they’re simply money-pots for rampant corruption.
Nothing will change in that area unless airports are FORCIBLY removed DEI control.
What don’t you find in these airports?
JFK is the worst. Newark, by comparison, is not that bad. Not a fan of Logan either.
Munich is absolutely wonderful. Nice beer garden in the transit area. Charles de Gaulle and Heathrow - bah. Rome’s Da Vinci has gotten a lot better. And surprisingly, Lisbon is very nice too.
Changi is by far my favorite airport. It’s spectacular.
The Airport lounges in Europe are so much better than the ones here.
Having once had to spend all night in Newark airport, I will decline on that one.
Haven’t flown since before 911, but way back when, I would have rated San Fran & Honolulu the best I had seen. Can’t say how they would rate nowadays.
