I guess their neighbors now know how the couple afforded the 26,893 square foot mansion in Sandy, valued at $9.1 million,

Nice digs. I’d like a blueprint on how to smuggle oil out of Mexico in that kind of quantity and NOT get caught.

That was my first thought as well.
Doesn’t say much good for our border security!

This is interesting.
I didn’t know there was a large clandestine oil trade in the US.
I wonder who buys it and for what purpose.
They must in turn pretend to be legitimate oil importers or something.

“How? Had to be hard to move crude oil.”
Not when you own an oil import company located near the border.

Who said crime doesn’t pay?
29,000 sq ft house doesn’t mow its own lawn or clean its own pool or dust its own tops or cook meals, ya know? Cleaning the gutters is a full time job!

And nobody in Pemex or the cartel will go to jail, although several of the Pemex and government oil ministers might be taken out by the cartel to keep them silent.

There was another story similar to this, but the amount of oil was in the few thousands of gallons not this scale. I had no idea how, or why. I suppose if you did have a legitimate oil import terminal or pipe, you could run more through it that is stolen on the other side without reporting it.
