Despite having billions to spend and a network of influential nonprofits, Alex Soros, son of George Soros, doesn’t have what it takes to continue his father’s decades-long impact on the worldwide political landscape.
That is the conclusion of an unflattering New York Magazine profile on the 39-year-old Soros who has taken up the helm of his 94-year-old father’s “philanthropic network,” the Open Society Foundations (OSF.)
“The real story is that every single person who knows the family knows that Alex was exactly the wrong person to lead the foundation,” the New York Magazine profile on Alex Soros, published Tuesday, reads, quoting an anonymous source “with deep OSF ties.”
If true, the young Soros apple would be falling far from the elder’s tree. Globally, Open Society has given away $32 billion of the elder financier’s personal fortune on domestic and international causes, the foundation’s website reports.

I think he’s probably the typical leftist cougar chaser. No self control or idea when it’s too much or too close to breaking the law.
No immigrant to the United States has done more harm to the American people and the American nation than George Soros. His son Alex will continue to do as much harm as possible.
You can buy a lot of social discontent with $32 b-b-billion, but the real magic is using it to gain control of other people's money and using that. Alex doesn't look to be much more than a radical rich kid with a big mouth, but I could be mistaken.
Soros Sr. needs to adopt David Hogg and let him manage the political funding of the democrats. America would ‘benefit’ from Hogg’s ideas about primary(ing) leading old-timers from the party.

Hope that after hsi father croaks, Alex has enough sense to stop giving away $$ to left wing causes. Maybe he is only doing it because its what his old man expects him to do. Perhaps that is why the profile is so unflattering? Maybe they detect he is not a true believer like his father?
