Democrat Representative Urges Protesters To Harass Congressmen At Church
The Federalist ^ | April 24, 2025 | Logan Washburn

Posted on 04/25/2025 10:59:40 AM PDT by Twotone

‘Congress should not be operating as business as usual… Colleagues of mine should not be able to go to church or to go to the neighborhood gas station…’

While plotting upcoming protests, Rep. Delia Ramirez, D-Ill., urged demonstrators to target congressmen at church.

“Folks, colleagues of mine should not be able to go to church or to go to the neighborhood gas station — if they pump their own gas, because I work with a lot of billionaires,” Ramirez said. “They should not be able to, without seeing community asking them ‘What the hell are you doing [for] my Social Security? What the hell are you doing to protect my Medicaid? Why the hell are you not standing up to protect public education in this country?’”

Ramirez called for harassment of legislators in an April 23 Zoom call, planning protests commemorating the socialist holiday May Day. As The Federalist previously reported, far-left activists are planning a “May Day National Day of Action” across America.

“Congress should not be operating as business as usual … We have had mediocre leadership in every level of government, and you are saying that on May Day — on May Day, it changes,” Ramirez said. “Members of Congress, we have a role to play, and you need to agitate us to do more.”

The congresswoman echoed popular Marxist talking points, blaming “greedy-ass, terrible, evil billionaires” for the country’s problems.

“You and I both know that it’s the billionaires’ fault. It’s those corporations, it’s those greedy bosses, it’s the greedy insurance companies, and greedy pharma,” Ramirez said. “They are the reason we are where we are, and the only way you change these circumstances is doing the organizing, the agitating necessary.”

Engineering Unrest

The “May Day Strong” call included left-wing activists and union leaders, including Jackson Potter, vice president of the Chicago Teachers Union — the same group that claimed re-opening schools after COVID-19 was “rooted in sexism, racism, and misogyny.” He applauded Ramirez’s remarks as “fire” — “That’s a clarion call if I’ve ever heard one.”

“Instead of only talking about preserving a Constitution that was already imperfect and eroding before our eyes, we want to imagine a better union with social/economic rights,” Potter said. “Let’s get rid of the undemocratic nature of the system …”

Potter said activists have organized 600 protests nationwide in more than 500 cities, across 49 states — which rose to 50 by the end of the call. At one point, he said more than 2,400 organizers and volunteers were on the Zoom meeting. He said protestors would “shut sh*t down.”

Hae Lin-Choi, political and legislative director for the Communications Workers of America, explained the protests’ plans in New York City. She said more than 100 organizations are involved, including, “probably every possible group that you can imagine in New York City.” According to Choi, protesters will rally in Federal Plaza and then march past Wall Street and Trump Tower.

“We’re literally connecting the fight of the federal workers with the fight against our enemies, making it clear who we’re up against,” Choi said. “We’ll also make sure that the immigrant rights groups are surrounded by labor groups and many other organizations, literally forming a protective barrier.”

She claimed America is under “authoritarianism,” and said “a united movement of the people” is needed to “beat back those f*cking dictators.”

According to the May Day protests’ website, “partners” include the radical Women’s March, the Democratic Socialists of America (whose “paramilitary wing” is Antifa), the far-left Action Center on Race and the Economy (ACRE), and America’s largest labor union — the National Education Association. Other supporters include leftist groups MoveOn and Indivisible, both of which backed the recent “Hands Off” and anti-Elon Musk protests.

The upcoming protests are organizing through Mobilize America, which helped coordinate the recent anti-Tesla and “Hands Off” protests, as The Federalist previously reported. Mobilize was initially founded as a Democrat PAC, but has since rolled up into the party’s voter database under a wealthy private firm.

“This May Day, we’re hoping not only to march to commemorate our history,” Choi said. “We f*cking make history.”

Ramirez is such a brain-dead idiot.
“They should not be able to, without seeing community asking them ‘What the hell are you doing [for] my Social Security? What the hell are you doing to protect my Medicaid? Why the hell are you not standing up to protect public education in this country?’”
Nobody is touching SS. Medicaid is rife with fraud, especially in California. Public education? Don't make me laugh. We spent FOUR TRILLION on the Dept. of Education and what do we have to show for it? The worst educational attainment in the history of the country. 19th Century kids were far better trained in one-room school houses with blackboards and slates.

What ever happened to the House Ethics committee? Are they okay with the RAT destruction of Americans, churches and American businesses. It’s time to defund Congress. To many of the RATS belong to Tren de Aragua and are using their positions to get their fellow gangbangers brought back into America to kill and steal from their American constituents.

May Day National Day of Action

Why not a name like "International Workers, Peasants and Proletarians Day of Solidarity"?

Indeed, Congress should not be operating as “business as usual.” Nor should the Executive. We are in a war-time Presidency, and our side should take threats of harassment and violence seriously, dealing with those threats in a non-“business as usual” way.

Mission accomplished.

In this world you will have tribulation, but have courage, Jesus has overcome the world.

Why don’t Cavalier Johnson, the “mayor” of Milwaukee, have a news conference about the “chilling effect” that harassing Congressmen at Church has on churchgoers. The boy is a real chump. The mother of all morons. He is making America less safe.

“Colleagues of mine should not be able to go to church or to go to the neighborhood gas station…’”

That’s against the law. Everyone has the perfect right to do both.
