China claims the President Trump started the trade war against China by imposing his reciprocal tariffs:
This is a complete lie. China has been waging a full-scale trade war against America for decades—President Trump just happens to be the first President to stand up to China—and they don’t like it.
Case in point: China steals anywhere between $225 and $600 BILLION of American technology and intellectual property every year. Depending on the range of the estimate, this is roughly equal to—perhaps double—the value of the trade deficit in goods, which stood at $295 billion in 2024.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
There can never be free or fair trade with China.
Stealing is the oldest, and most profitable
trade in the world.

They should have been buying.
Agreed. The Chinese claim to be smarter than Americans, yet they can’t create their own things even though they have 4 times as many brains as we do.
If a company does business in China they must be expecting their product to be stolen and copied.
Good thing we’re educating them in our universities and hiring them to work in our country, and allowing them to purchase our land! If we didn’t, just think of all the thieves that wouldn’t have work!
...and we do NOTHING!!!
So the tariffs are definitely justified?
This is why tariffs on Chinese goods should be 1,000%. This needs to be emphasized every time someone calls tariffs a “tax” or says that they hurt consumers. So does stealing IP on a massive scale.
I’ve heard that they’re problem is they have trouble seeing things vertically.
Thanks, free traitors.
And why do we let them do it? China has been and still is paying off the right people to obtain it and avoid the consequences.
They can make world class products, DJI drones for example are unmatched by anyone.
With that said, DJI are the exception and not the rule, methinks they fell through the cracks because the central planners didn't understand and/or care about that market before they cornered it.
One example that proves China's inability to compete in tech is their inability to make a competitive turbofan engine for military and/or civilian aviation, you can't be a Superpower without the ability to make your own powerplants.
Oh now y’all notice.
Living in the Silicon Slum back 30 years ago the wifey yelled at me to come out to the driveway. Somebody left a car parked in the driveway, couldn’t move it cuz it was an automatic. But it was unlocked. So I checked the interior for anything that might tell me the owner name.
Reg said it was a rental. No name. But on the seat, there was a list of people and addresses with their companies and locations. Some of them in China: “Institute of Reversal Engineering” was there more then a few times.
Rest of the names were at the usual litany of SV companies: Intel, AMD, Applied, KLA etc. Some not so usual, there’s a lot more here.
Went inside to call The Hook.
Right about then this Chinese guy comes strolling up from the duplex next door, wifey yells at me to come out. Chinese couple had bought it about a year earlier, lived in the back. He was apparently visiting.
Didn’t speak no Engrish. Just smiled and jumped into the crapcar (was a Ford Focus I think) and took off.
Big guy. Young. Obviously didn’t understand US street numbering, parked in the wrong driveway...mine.
Just another Industrial Spy surfin’ around the Silicon Slum, checkin’ in with his contacts. Nowadays they run the companies. If you think they’re all Troo Bloo ‘Mericans just because they got great jobs here and got rich, think again. With them, it’s China First Last and Forever. The US is just a gold mine to be plundered.
They only recently (10 yrs or so) figured out how to make a ball point pen in house..
My understanding is the Asians, all of ‘em, are hardwired to conduct industrial espionage. Born that way, in their blood - and why not, if they get away with it so easily??
Stealing IP then selling products back to Americans. How better off we would be if we don’t do business with China? We wouldn’t be falling apart with 37T debt. It’s way over due for a complete decoupling!
