KYIV -- Rescue teams recovered two more bodies from the rubble of apartment buildings destroyed in a massive Russian missile-and-drone attack, prompting US President Donald Trump to issue a rare rebuke of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The April 24 overnight barrage -- the largest in months -- came just hours after the White House gave what amounted to an ultimatum about a US proposal to end the 38-month-old Russian invasion.

Yet, paradoxically, the more conciliatory Trump appears towards Russia, the more emboldened the Kremlin becomes. Instead of responding with measured restraint, President Putin has intensified his campaign against Ukraine, directing increasingly brutal strikes upon civilian targets in Kyiv — a move that starkly contradicts any notion of de-escalation. It suggests that Trump's overtures, far from pacifying Moscow, are being interpreted as signs of acquiescence or strategic impotence.
At the heart of this unraveling lies a fatal misjudgment. The Kremlin, driven by its long-standing ethos of territorial expansion and ideological antagonism, is not swayed by overtures of friendship — especially when such gestures are undermined by covert maneuvers. Indeed, it appears the Russian leadership has seen through Trump's "nice-guy" ploy. They now suspect that behind his apparent sympathy lies a deeper, more subversive intent: to undermine their strategic aims under the guise of diplomacy.
This revelation has rendered Trump’s peace efforts effectively obsolete in their eyes. The Kremlin no longer entertains the illusion of alignment; they perceive duplicity. They view Trump's strategy not as a sincere pursuit of peace, but as a layered deceit — an attempt to publicly appease while privately obstructing.
As such, any remaining influence he might have held as a mediator or a persuasive force has eroded. In attempting to manipulate the stage upon which global conflict plays out, Trump has, perhaps unwittingly, revealed his hand too soon. And now, the Russian game seem to be proceeding without him — guided not by diplomacy, but by the cold arithmetic of power unchecked.
Western Europe, Ukraine, and Russia’s governments all have one thing in common. They hate Trump.
Russia done took away all of France’s African colonies, how does that make you feel Frenchie?
Cut them both loose and let the chips fall where they may.
Of course, without the US dollars, Ukraine/NATO will be SOL.
Just kill Putin already.
Trump’s best move would to WALK AWAY from this European Sh!t Show.
Let Ukraine and Russia have their Eastern Slavic family fued.
The UK, France, and Germany can sort this out. It would be about time the Euro-Trash took responsibility for their own backyard.
Cut off ALL MONEY/SUPPORT to Ukraine
“It suggests that Trump’s overtures, far from pacifying Moscow, are being interpreted as signs of acquiescence or strategic impotence.”
Nonsense.
Russia has stated early and often they would pursue their political objectives in the field. It doesn’t matter what POTUS Trump says or does, Russia continues with the same intensity...which is pedal to the metal 7x24x365 at their best ability.
They would prefer the US pressure Ukraine to surrender land and sovereignty, but they shall not stop pursuing those goals via other means.
So Trump is so stupid? Well let all the geniuses in Ukraine and Russia kill each other and let the EU sent their euros down the rat hole.
“Why should we give 4 regions? For one simple reason, because in six months or a year you will give 6. If you are not smart enough, you will give 8. Is that reason enough? It is a very simple situation. Today, to give 4 is to pay for the passage, which actually looked like one toilet flush for three or four years, for all the mistakes. To recognize those mistakes, to recognize, to actually say, ‘yes, we’re giving it all away, we’re cutting it off’.
How do we give it back? De facto. It’s clear that de jure no one will give it back. That’s all, and get a chance to reset the project. This is both a pass for three or four years and an entrance ticket to a new reality. And Ukraine can be another, much better – to change the way of economic management. ‘We will fight to the last patriot, we will not give up the Russian-speaking regions.’ And why were you suppressing them, these Russian-speaking regions?”
What?
Get real.
“Russia done took away all of France’s African colonies, how does that make you feel Frenchie?”
Actually, I think it was more due to the Globalists trying to impose GloboHomo in Africa - it doesn’t go over very well in traditional societies.
By the way, which Zeepers do you think will make it to the May 9th Gay Pride Parade in Kiev?

Well Duh!
Need to have a Nobel Prize for appeasement. Trump is now the Nigel Chamberlain of the 21st Century

I think Marcusmaxipad, Grzegorz, and lodi90.
Do we have any authority to point fingers?
Trump is no messiah but he IS righteous and represents the will of God. So…the unrighteous despise him.
(I said Western Europe — but Hungary, Poland et al. are a different story…)
