Terrorism works?

Following the Tesla Q1 earnings call and a profit drop of 71%, Elon Musk has announced his imminent departure from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

A longtime hero of the left due to his work on global warming initiatives — solar panels and electric vehicles — Elon Musk began to fall out of favor initially when he bought Twitter, announcing that he wanted to defend “freedom of speech.” He became an absolute enemy of the left when he joined the Trump administration as the titular head of the Department of Government Efficiency.

In the initial months of Elon’s work with DOGE, he uncovered countless government programs that were rife with waste, fraud in abuse, from USAID to the Treasury Department, the Department of Education, the EPA, and the Social Security Department.

At first, Democrats held press conferences outside respective agencies, pounding their fists and announcing that Elon was “unelected.” They then moved on to spouting lies about Elon accessing governmental databases for the purpose of “stealing personal information from the American people.”

When these tactics didn’t move the needle, they activated their shock troops to attack Elon personally, by firebombing Tesla dealerships and attacking Tesla owners, in an effort to punish Elon for daring to work with the Trump administration to root out fraud and abuse.

Well, as of today, these terrorist activities can be deemed a success.

Tesla (and Elon) has taken a huge financial hit. Elon has announced his departure from DOGE.

Terrorism works.

If only President Trump had control of the DOJ, the terrorists could be punished.

It is anti-American, anti-Constitution judges who need to be brought to heel!

LIEberal Democrat lawyers and judges are working 24/7 to thwart MAGA!

Once they are brought up by the short hairs, things will fall into place!

Is it fun to post lies?

At any rate, the story is a lie, since Musk had stated months ago he would be leaving DOGE sometime around late May

And the post promulgates a lie

from weeks ago

Musk has made a lasting impact on the FEDGOV — his work will continue throughout the Trump 47 Presidency.

IOW, he will keep himself available to and will provide sound advice to POTUS in the years to come, IMHO.

“”Musk had stated months ago he would be leaving DOGE sometime around late May””

For once, I read the posts before I posted to say the same thing. Apparently IF the writer had LISTENED, paid attention, he would have known it also!

I would look at it differently. Measured by market capitalization, Tesla is about the 10th-largest company in the world.

I’m a big fan of what Elon Musk is doing in the government, but I also question whether he’s acting responsibly as the CEO of such a large company by doing that.

Are you denying this true?

Morningstar analysts said: "We think the market was concerned Musk could be distracted from leading Tesla and potentially hurt Tesla's brand. Musk's decision to reduce his advisory role should alleviate these concerns."

That isn't a knock on him. It's condemnation of the tactics being used against him.

I thought that originally Trump said Musk would leave on July 4, 2026. I could be wrong.

This is absolutely no surprise - being distorted by the hostile media, AS usual.

There is a statutory limit to the time that individuals can work for the FedGov on an ad hoc basis - couple of hundred days IIRC. Musk has reached the statutory limit or will shortly.

Democrats got confirmation in 2019 that domestic terrorism works. After the antifa/BLM riots, Judges in 2020 were scared to death that their homes would get mobbed if they didn’t rule in the lefts favor, not just on certain ‘civil rights’ issues, but even on election problems, among other things.

I am actually very surprised they don’t currently have a newer brown-coat iteration of the fake civil rights riots going now, other than some of these lone-wolf tesla defacers.

I read Tesla sold more cars in first quarter than all the other manufacturers combined. Still the numbers are down. It’s the economy. The politics doesn’t help. Musk owes a feduciary duty to his shareholders. Basically, it’s back to work or turn over Tesla to someone else. given it’s a cult like Apple that won’t fly. Pro

It has always worked. An urban version = “Be a shame if something happened to that.......”. The only way to fight is to enforce laws. If your legal system is corrupt, the only way to fight is to use same tactics; and then overthrow the corrupt system.

Perhaps the issue of the Tesla stock/Tesla sales, is that,

as a carmaker, Tesla stock was always overprice. Car makers with higher sales don’t have stock valuation that comes even close to that of Tesla.

Another thing: with the promise of lowering gas prices, people are coming back to petro-fueled vehicles. There won’t be high gas prices scaring people away from gas-powered cars. As gas prices drop even further, EV sales will droop accordingly.

The EV era has never arrived. Things are settling back down to where they should have been in the car industry. Elon is a smart and nice guy, but, he needs to accept the new reality. Trump and Elon are buddies now, but Trump has done something to the car industry that is hurtful to the EV market.

The terrorism against Tesla vehicles and to Tesla in general, are not the biggest cause for the lowered sales or to the stock value of Tesla.

Is there any doubt that vandalism and intimidation of Tesla drivers has had an impact on sales?

There really isn't.

It's political intimidation, the same kind Democrats and communists have used for decades.

And, the antidote to that is the DOJ charging anyone involved with violence of a Tesla dealership or against an owner of Tesla with Federal charge, not just a couple of the worst offenders.
