Washington to Quit Negotiations on Ukraine if Moscow, Kiev Reject its Plan — Vance

According to JD Vance, the border may not wind up as the exact front lines as they stand now

NEW DELHI, April 23. /TASS/. The United States has developed "a very explicit proposal" to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, and will withdraw from the negotiations, if Moscow and Kiev do not agree to the plan, Vice President JD Vance said.

"It’s time for them to either say yes or for the United States to walk away from this process," Bloomberg quoted him as telling reporters after finishing a tour of the Taj Mahal.

"There’s going to have to be some territorial swaps," he said, adding that while the border may not wind up as the exact front lines as they stand now, to get the killing to stop both sides need to "put down their weapons, to freeze this thing and to get on with the business of actually building a better Russia and a better Ukraine." Vance said he was "optimistic" about the talks, adding he sees all sides as having negotiated in good faith so far.

On April 20, US President Donald Trump expressed hope that a settlement deal in Ukraine would be reached in the coming week. As reported by The New York Post, Trump's plan may include the deployment of European troops in the territories controlled by Kiev. Also, the creation of a joint commission is being considered, which will include representatives of Russia, Ukraine and a third non-NATO country to monitor the ceasefire.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Trump may scale back attempts to resolve the crisis in Ukraine if progress is not achieved soon. Trump said that the US withdrawal from the negotiations is possible, but he would not like to allow this.

Good, walk away and send no more money to Ukraine either. No more arms, or anything else...

“...and send no more money to Ukraine either...”

That certainly seems to be the implication of Vance’s remarks.

Russia can certainly expect painful consequences as well

The EU is to blame. They want to keep the meat grinder running. They fill Zeke’s head with BS because to them nothing is more important than preventing a Trump negotiated end to this absurd war. If tens of thousands have to die so be it.

When one is involve with an organization who’s actions constantly drag you into nonstop disasters, common sense would dictate to get as far away, as fast as you can, to stop from being dragged down with that organization.

Get out of NATO, away from the EU, and deal with each country individually.

Our focus is our hemisphere and the Pacific rim. Eastern Siberia is on the Pacific Rim and is largely undeveloped and full of mineral wealth. Negotiate a trade deal with Russia to access that region and forget about zoocryane.

“Friendly trade with all and entanglements with none.”

We already don’t send them money. Let the war take its natural course and end with either a victory for one side or they will quit when they are tired of the killing.

Propping up one side just prolongs the killing on both sides...

This is true. Propping up one side that does not have the ability to win only prolongs the killing...
