I’m wondering if DEI holdover’s sabotage is responsible for all these airplane malfunctions...
Interior paneling, not the roof.......Sheesh!
Why attribute to malice when it could be incompetence? 😉
Was it the Airplane movie where in a flashback the narrator (Ted Striker?) is holding an airplane wing to the fuselage and his arms stretch out about 20 feet?
Or both? Could be DEI incompetence, and/or, in this absolutely vicious climate of retribution among democrats, pure malice.
In their defense, Boeing didn't design the 717, it's a MD-80 they rebranded and sold as a Boeing plane.
So we might blame McDonnell/Douglas or Boeing ar Delta for this --- bad design, bad construction, bad maintenance?
Glad no one was killed.
DC-9 > MD-95 > 717
Atlanta to Chicago?
That’s fortuitous because they would have had lots of experience holding their hands up..............
Nothing like that Hawaiian plane that literally pealed off its EXTERIOR skin some years ago. They were literally flying in a plane with a convertible top with the top down.
“In their defense, “
They stopped making them in 20 years ago.
“Boeing didn’t design the 717, it’s a MD-80 they rebranded and sold as a Boeing plane.”
MD-95. Boing bought MD.
When we had a President Biden and a clueless Homeland Security that failed basic 101 national protection to defend our borders for 4 years, how do we expect to have and maintain safe transportation.
Trump is correct to put in place the means and ability to defend our borders and national security. It is basic government.
Exactly. No hyperbole and drama at all..
You could not pay me enough money to vet on a plane right now. 😄
DEI maintenance.
I hear on the radio one story a week about aircraft malfunctions.
*** “The attendants finally duct taped it after he held it up for a while,” Payne explained in the caption, punctuating his outrage with a photo of the spotty patch job.***
Duct tape. Should be on every plane these days. What won’t it fix, at least temporarily?
I am flying from Jacksonville, Florida to Seattle this summer. No way I can drive 3500 miles each way.
Planes should be Required to carry Gorilla tape. It is quite strong.
