We’re more likely to go to jail for driving over a BLM street “art” than one of “them” being punished for a felony.

So much for the “we know who you are and we are going to prosecute you to the greatest extent of the law” BULLSH&T. The Feds need to prosecute this maggot for his hate crime if the dumbasses in Minniesoda aren’t going to do it.

If the Trump administration allows this, just give it some time and soon….
I’m getting rather concerned that we have leadership that is afraid to lead. The result of that will be rather dire.

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office has decided not to file criminal charges I bet he would if it were HIS car.

Where is the sheriff? His jurisdiction is different and he does not work for city politicos.
But, it is Mn.

Honest question: What options are available to the federal government when a state or city refuses to charge law breakers?

In other words... scratch on! There are no consequences! And it only exacerbates from there.

And the Democrats wonder why crime has increased in those areas under their control. I would take this to a higher court.

I can see where firebombing a Tesla dealership might well fall under some sort of Federal law.. Scratching a Tesla, not so much. More interestingly, isn’t the guy on the Governor Walz’s staff? That should be scandal.

It’s a bit of a dilemma. If he’s charged and locked up, he probably won’t be able to pay for the damages until he’s out of the pokey, and if he still has a job. If they let him keep his job, but garnish a good chunk of his pay that might hurt him more, knowing he’s working for less to pay for his stupidity, meanwhile keeping an eye on him via a probation officer. But in an ass backward state, he will probably suffer nothing.

That should be scandal. That's an interesting point. Are we saying that a local govt (including state govt) not punishing someone who harms another over political beliefs is the state violating the Tesla owner's first amendment rights? (Ignoring that most Tesla owners / dealers hate Musk too.) So at that point, is the federal govt obligated to protect the Tesla owners' free speech rights when the local govt wont?

Here’s the DA, Mary Moriarty who decided not to prosecute the libtard who engaged in domestic terrorism. [Note: Mary Moriarty characterized the Laken Riley Act, which would require law enforcement officers work with the Department of Homeland Security to detain and potentially deport illegal immigrants who have been arrested for some nonviolent crimes, xenophobia-“masquerading as criminal justice and would have a chilling impact on the rights of minorities and women.”

If the Trump administration is serious about treating this as terrorism, federal charges can still be brought.
