It’s a sad day that the DemonRATS chose to turn America over to the MS-13 illegal aliens. 250th Anniversary of Lexington and Concord.

John Hancock signed my GGGGgrandfather’s commission. It is on display in Springfield, Mass.

50 years ago I was an American umpire at a 200th anniversary re-enactment of the battles of Lexington & Concord by almost a thousand San Mateo County, California, high school students. The British re-enactors wore uniforms made by their mothers, and were inspected the night before by the British consul from San Francisco. The British umpires were all US Marine recruiting sergeants.

The whole thing was gorgeous and wildly successful.

My wife has 3 members of her family that were Minutemen.

All three grabbed their squirrel rifles to go to the battle.
2 made it and participated. The third one was collared by his mom as he tried to run out the door. (He was 12)

I have been getting almost hourly updates on social media about what was happening 250 years ago in real time.

What I never realized is the British marched out of Boston at 10 PM on the 18th. The most recent update I got was 12 minutes ago…and they were just now coming back into Lexington on the way back to Boston.

They had two more significant encounters before the day is over.

Those poor guys must have been exhausted when they got back to their barracks. No one was moving by horse or carriage or truck…

That is the kind of detail that makes the history much more interesting and relatable. None of my history teachers had the motivation to tell the “stories”. We just regurgitated “facts.”

I wonder what hoops the reenactors had to jump through to possess a rifle and black power in public in Massachusetts?
