The UK economy is in terrible shape. They are not in a position to fight a war of any kind.
There will be no suppression of free speech under any trade deal.

More like they ARE in the table and he recognizes that reality. If he arrests people for political speech, he doesn’t get a trade deal. He didn’t get a day about what’s on the table or not.

As with left wing Canada, the left wing UK government is the Trump objektive. Canada and the UK will get new Governments and new PM’s
Ultimately, Canada and the UK will join America and Australia and New Zealand in a new trade consortium to deal with China and Europe
