Many people do not understand the difference.
Vegetarian is a very old sort of diet that can be healthy if done correctly. Which is the case with most kinds of diet. You do not need to take supplements with it.
Veganism is a newfangled sort of diet that has some sort of religious aspect to it. You MUST take supplements or in about a year it will kill you.
The only time I think about vegans is when they are trying to take my meat away or when I vet a new female acquaintance (I won’t date or be friends with them).
dfwgator already posted that in the one I was replying to
These left wing idiots better stop saying scientists every time they talk about anything. When I see “scientists say,” I wonder who the scientists are, and the stupid stuff they say can only make people distrust them. It’s no wonder that people don’t want to follow the science any more because science has so much to say about every little thing. And also there is virtually no subject that scientists won’t say something about.
How do you know if someone is a vegan? They’ll tell you.
His vegetarianism gave Hitler his uncontrollable flatulence = vegetarians are just like Hitler
(I learned how to think from the legacy media. How am I doing?)
Vegans are insane vegetarians
Do you brine them first before low-temp smoking to remove the marijuana residue? Also, remember vegans cook up like pork, so please be safe and go for an internal temp of at least 160. Honestly, the sweet spot is at 205 degrees, although some vegan meat takes longer and the pause is much longer than for pork shoulder or beef brisket of the same weight.
Were you friends with him?
i don’t hate vegans: i enjoy watching them slowly waste away ...
there’s no B12 in any plant, and the amount of calories from carbohydrates in a plant-based diet that must be consumed to achieve the DRA for protein is 10-20 times as much as eating enough meat to satisfy the protein requirement ...
in fact, it’s starting to be understood that one of the major drivers of the obesity epidemic is hunger due to basic nutritional needs not being met by a typical diet, even when junk food isn’t involved. .. just try to get 90 grams of protein a day eating rice and beans, vegetables, and fruit ...
‘I’m on the carnivore diet (I only eat animal products), and I don’t hate vegans.’
A buddy of mine who speaks and writes about hunting-related issues got asked to speak at a conference that was billed as a “dialogue” between anti-hunting / anti-meat folks and pro-hunting / pro-meat folks.
Of course the organizers decided that the lunch would be vegan “in order to respect the preferences of all the participants.”
My buddy first told the organizers were failing to respect his “meatatarian” dietary preferences, specifically that he believed it was important to have meat (or at least eggs) at every meal. They told him that he was disrespecting the “spirit of dialog we are trying to promote.” He told them that was fine.
And then he had BBQ delivered from a third-party vendor for lunch. Notably, the other pro-hunting / pro-meat folks were insanely jealous when his food arrived. At the same time, my buddy said that the quinoa salad was excellent with his massive pile of pulled pork, brisket, and ribs.
The vegans made a point out of his “disrespect” during the afternoon sessions.
I don’t hate “vegans”...as long as they don’t try to force their opinions on me. I laugh at them...and sometimes I pity them.
No, but I support Trump, so I, too, am just like Hitler. Little known but accepted that Hitler had uncontrollable flatulence. We differ in that one respect, I’m happy to report
I think people just make up stories like that. We don’t need flatulence to make Hitler look bad.
I’m a second hand Vegetearean.🤣
The late great El Rushbo frequently commented that the anti-tobacco folks would move on to anti-meat...and who knows what else.
Puritans.
My only beef with vegans is where do they get their B vitamins
Next time you come across a vegan, ask them why they pretend to eat animals with their fake meat.
I did and she was pissed.
